Default Traffic sources

Hi All

I have a question I'd like to ask you all if I can. It's regarding traffic sources.

If I pick an offer that does not allow PPV traffic, can I still promote it through PPV but send the traffic to an LP first?

Does that then mean that the traffic I send is not from PPV but from my LP instead?

Thank you for your time

Steve

I would suggest not using PPV at all to drive traffic if it is not allowed even if you send it to a landing page first. You can clarify with your AM just in case.

Yes, usually a certain type of traffic isn't allowed because it doesn't convert for the advertiser.

However, something you can do is use PPV to build a list and then market the offer as long as it allows Email promotion. Still, check with your AM first.

You won't make money with PPV if you don't set up tracking with T202/P202, sending traffic to LP is still involved with PPV, they can see your traffic referrers. But if you drive traffic to a squeeze page to capture leads first, then promote through emails, that's another story.

anyway, check out first with your AM if you're not sure about campaigns.

if you think you can get good conversion using ppv then you might want to try it. it will be risky. Make sure you mask your domain also as others said capture the email so you can market later.

Just drive traffic to a lead capture page the market to them on the backend. Have the optin your squeeze page and send them to the offer on the "thank-you-page" and follow up with email autoresponder.

You could ask your AM to be sure. Or you could collect emails with ppv then email them offers.

I agree with Chris. Always contact your AM when you have any doubts or questions.
