Mobile CPA Marketing

Anyone having success in mobile CPA marketing?
I am just losing my money,time and patience.
If you are making then please reply with some tips plus what verticals are converting and the network you use.

Check out the mobile marketing forum - you will find a lot of great information and find what verticals are working in there. People make a ton of money in mobile, so don't get frustrated. Keep trying and you'll find something!

Thanks, but the reason why I posted here is that in mobilemarketing forum people just talk about mobile websites which is not my choice till now. Do you do mobile CPA marketing?

Oh okay, I don't but a guy I know that is very successful with mobile has the following blog:

Check out that site. He's got a few good articles over there, and I'm sure you could probably ask some questions in the comments sections.

I did mobile PPC advertising . Now I have just $100 left with me in my advertiser account,so I don't want to waste them as well. I need some advice regarding mobile CPA marketing. I tried everything from dating to email submits and even home improvement. Dating converted but only $8 from it.

I made the same mistake of getting straight into it without doing my research first. IN the CPA game, you really have to know what you are doing and track every single thing you are doing before you start the campaigns

most people don't realize but mobile marketing is just like email marketing. build your list. you can do the same with mobile marketing. get a mobile platform (sms platform) drive traffic to your keyword or mobile landing page (some platforms you can create mobile landing pages) you capture their cell number and now you can send offers when ever you want for free...well not quite for free it will cost you like 0.04 - 0.10 cent or so per message depending on your platform. Hope this helps

I have used admob, buzzcity, inmobi & 2/3 others for promoting various CPA offers.
I only got success when I took optin & promote to them via email in the backend..
Tracking & twisting is very very important as some of the networks has really useless traffic.

How about JumpTap? Has anybody had any success in this platform?

How do you decide which carrier or handset manufacturer to target? For example, while promoting a prepaid card or a ringtone download - how do you make your choice on which carrier/manufacturer/social group to target?

I know trial/error is the way out but each trial costs a lots of money. If one knows upfront like this particular social group prefers this particular handset or carrier then most of the energy would be saved.

I tried mobile marketing for lead generation. The general consensus is that its just not ready yet. People dont really fill out form (i.e. insurance quotes) on their smart phones (yet), they just browse and do it once at home on their desktop PC.

Stick to PPC, much easier and a heck of a lot more traffic.

It's all about niches, u need to offer niche wich will good convert on mobiles.. people dont like to fill offers on mobiles..
