I've been testing out adbrite for about 5 days now, and after wasting about 100 bucks on traffic that doesn't convert OR sign up for anything (FREE SIGN UPS), I'm beginning to wonder if the traffic that is visting my page is actually real or if it's some sort of scam? I received 2000 clicks approximately... received no sales, no sign ups, and lost over $100 (.05 per click) Now, can anyone explain WHAT THE F*** is going on with Adbrite? How is anyone succeeding with them? How are they still in business with these types of results? Are there other niches that have better results? I heard gambling sites work well with them... hm Any insight into this would be nice... because I'd like to get to the bottom of this. |

Hi Steve, it really depends on what offers are you promoting. If the bids are low, a lot of traffic will come from proxy type of sites which are really poor quality. I have tried advertising using the banner ad based on CPC model. It does not do as well as using text ads. But entertainment types of offer do better. I tested using auto insurance kind of offers and it was disappointing. You may want to try with free offers, ie CPA offers though I have not tried that yet. |
