Hey you guys. I am going to go into exact detail.

It is very white hat, all the person is doing is scanning the code in. *free source to make them* QR-Code Generator

I make sticky ones and I have made the placements around campuses, bar bathrooms, had asked some restaurant if they would be willing to let me put it on their boards. Most say yes because they too are interested in learning more about how toget more advertising.

I have been split testing various different ways. I usually put the offer directly in the QR code. It doesn't have to be masked. An example of one of my codes. If you need examples, I'd be happy to PM some.

As far as getting these circulated, I have hired a few high school kids who can drive or live close by to a metropolitan area.

You can also put them on little cards and hand them out as well.

I have found that putting text underneath prompts them to scan the code.

Hey there, I have been thinking of doing just this or handouts with a url or email but when talking with my account manager I was told that no offline advertising of this or any sort was allowed. So my question is about whether this is a rule by the cpa networks or if itʻs the advertisers that wonʻt allow the networks to do it.

If itʻs just some of the networks, do you know of any that allow this, or any, kind of offline advertising.

Why wouldn't they allow direct linking? I woudln't even do that, incase you have to change the direct.

I dont know any network that WOULDN'T allow this.

Only issue I see is that many networks don't support mobile browsing conversions...no?

Most networks I deal with allow me to do whatever I want to do as long as it's whitehat which is all I do. If your network won't let you do offline marketing, then you need to run away from them.

Yeah use the direct link. No one knows any different. I have utilized several QR codes just like that.

The key here is, Communication is key in anyone's success!

Thanks for your reply. I would think that if people go to the trouble of going to a website they type in from a piece of paper that they are legitimately interested in the product or service. Scanning a QR code is much easier if they have the app which is why I thought to give it a try.

One thing I noticed a few months ago is that scanning a QR code to go directly to some, not all, of the advertisers websites would result in a blocking of that website. QR codes were sensed and not allowed by some it seems. Have you run into that?

Thatʻs about when I spoke to the account manager who told me no offline marketing at all. That communication didnʻt work

I have tried to get on other networks but was not accepted so I stick with the ones I have. I mentioned offline as a traffic method with some of these just to see what they would say and was told, no.

Any network who is unwilling to allow you to do offline marketing is insane.. I just recently ran a crazy campaign.

I don't mind sharing this method. I got a friend who is smoking hot & has a great reach. I made a Tshirt for her that had a QR code on it and it said, "You like free?" She's preggo too. I had her sit out there for 5 hours. Fed her food, others fed her drinks, etc. It was crazy awesomely insane.

We had 3400 people scan the code on her breast. The majority of the population were men who wore business suits and looked crazed.

Made a great killing. You gotta step out of the box, peeps. Money is to be made. Total white hat. I didn't mask the link, I didn't promise anything or do anything illegal.

I just split 50/50 with a really hot chick on a CPA offer.

There are several methods that you can do that can really bring in the dough for you. It's the purest of traffic too!

Going to be implementing a few more ideas in the short future in regards to FaceBook, Offline Marketing and a QR code.

Fun times. To just keep testing, and testing.. You'll hit the nail on the plank soon enough!

I was wondering if you can tell me which networks allow offline that you are aware of. I ask because I am interested in promoting offline, but know that that can be a sticking point for networks. I'd appreciate the help, if it's cool with you.

I LOVE IT! Very guerrilla! I always said, park a bunch of hot cars and surround them with hot girls on a lawn and watch the crowds!

Hey everyone.
I basically have used a plethora of various offers. I enjoy testing things out. Some things that I have learned in the different situations are the best converting offers work in places like:

College towns: Scholarships, iPads, Gift cards and flights.
Metro areas: Payday loans, Work from home, groceries
Rural areas: Work from home, groceries and insurance.

Nothing against taking a WSO out of it, but in all honesty. You don't need to pay for this information.

How I was able to get started with minimal amounts of money in this nice and idea. I went to local print shops and places that would help me get the information out there. Worked a barter. In this day & age, money is unfortunately tight but everyone is always looking for something.

But good for you for already releasing a WSO, Chad. Good for you. I am just sharing what I know of my success with the method.

Yeah, i've tried this. It really works because it's like a "what could it be" type of thing. Try sending out a flyer with just a QR code on it with a link to your mobile CPA offer and a heading like "Is this true?". Something catchy to pull them in. Most likely, they're already on their phone then once they scan the code it redirects to the offer and they complete it there and then. Converts well at university's in lecture halls.
