Best Buy And CPA - Check This

I stopped buy best buy this morning as soon as doors opened. I got on the computers that are on display and set all the browser homepages to a best buy email offer. In total i made $226.52 today. Has anyone tried this method out yet?

I haven't tried it out and probably won't. Sounds risky but its kind of funny at the same time.

Did you remember your entire affiliate link so you can just type it into each computer? Did anyone notice or become suspicious? $226, very good for a few minutes work...

ha ha..never heard of that before. i am sure that can be on the outsourced list. This is very creative. as long the leads convert you are good. Did you use domain redirect because you surely don't want too many direct traffic unless you told your AM about offline campaign.

What's your EPC? It should be pretty high. Also, i think a lot of leads were come from the same IP? Wouldn't the advertiser/network see this as fraud?

Same worries here, no advertiser will accept this i guess, all leads come from the same IP address, come on, it's far more risky

As for the IP issue, the same thing would happen if they were to set up a kiosk in a shopping mall and use their own computers to allow people to complete the offer.

But that and what they are REALLY doing are COMPLETELY different things.. so I'm really eager to find out how this turns out for them.. lol

The legality of all these gift card offers is already under scrutiny... long story that I wont go into.

However, when bestbuy catches something like this, imagine them reporting and worse, the press division of best buy starts contacting press people.

Our industry gets enough bad press from blackhawt folks.

This is so true and also the reason no one is doing this method, otherwise they would most likely be all over the place!

Pace Lattin is right though, BestBuy would frown on this big time, especially if it is disrupting their business. However, I will give him points for some serious creativity.
