My Tshirt method explained further

Okay. I really think this is awesome. For real.. I tested it over the weekend with a client.

Local attire store that sells shirts in bulk. I mean in serious bulk. We had a contest where people who were on campus can get a free Tshirt if they answered a simple *Are you smarter than a 5th grader question* I mean if these kiddos couldn't answer this, I flat out told them to ask to be re enrolled in 5th grade. I said it in a joking manner so it didn't seem like I was putting them down.

Got a keg, 79.00 (Clear it with the campus. Most campuses are pretty cool or if you can't go to the popular bar hangout) 150 to 300 drinks. Cups (25.00)

Bought 400 shirts at .50 a piece 100 in each size bracket (Get white shirts). (Why so cheap. I told the print shop and the attire store they could advertise on the back)

For each size bracket take a CPA offer that is just an email submit. Put Kooky titles underneath them.

Now here is where it gets awesome!

Put the QR code on big boards. That will be on the shirts. As well. You want to put it on the front, I don't know about you but I sure as hell don't want some creeper running after my back with their smart phone looking like they are the paparazzi. It promotes conversation & helps those nerdy mcnerds potentially gain a new drinking buddy or 4.

This method brought my client in about 11,000 dollars and is still bringing him money because people are still wearing these shirts. Last resort, I was NOT good at doing laundry in college and I like to believe that history repeats itself.

Total investment: $300-$500 (Depending on how you scale it)

Need help setting something up? Ask me anything, I'll be happy to show you the contract that I write for the attire company & the print shop. You can do this for just about anything. I recommend if you run a business, advertise your business as well..!

Tell your AM what you are doing, most people I have dealt with know I deal with offline and white hat traffic. If they say no, don't get defeated. Just move to the next AM.

Now......THAT is thinking outside the box! Nice, great idea, and I'm glad you put it to the test, this is good for a basis of doing all sorts of stuff with a QR code and beer? lol So you said the QR code linked to a CPA offer? or just the company's website? Whichever one, how was it used to be monetized after the fact? Thanks for the share though, really great stuff, NICE!

He did it with his company and CPA offers. He was one of the "sponsors" on the t-shirt.

I have many ideas and I will be sharing many ideas that I can.

Q: Direct linking or mask it?
A: I recommend direct link since the QR code is already covering it up

Q: What will my AM say?
A: Great and unique way of running traffic!

Q: Is this considered an incentivized offer?
A: No, you are not paying someone to do your offer.

Q: Email submits or mobile enhanced offers.
A: Do them both!

I like the creativity. QR codes are pretty nifty when you think outside the box...a nifty concept that's been around for a long time but is gaining crazy momentum recently

That's the crazy thing. Everyone is like, "What is this?" It's been in stores forever but just molded differently.

Yes. You can. It'd be cool to get an online scanner. I am sure there is something out there..

I didn't quite understand your method since im new to the CPA game but basicly your saying buy bulk t shorts and give it people to fill out a email submit? How will you give the people email submits like do you bring it to them on a laptop to fill in or what dont really understand lol. D: it would be nice if u can explain it to me
