Facebook ads… Reach

I recently started using Facebook ads for some of my campaigns but I thought the starting bids were a bit high. After some research I found that many people are doing very well using very low bids to start with, so I thought I’d try this out.

The suggested bids looked like this - $0.21 - 0.41 USD. Going by what I read I put my initial bid in at $0.16 and let this run over night. The result after 10 hours was a reach of 14 people (my estimated reach is around 740,000). After seeing this I decided to up my bid to $0.25 ($0.04 above minimum bid) to see if that would make a difference. The result in 7 hours, 17 hours total, I’m now up to a reach of 25 people.

Am I being too impatient with this or is this method just plain wrong? The only thing that I can think of is that there are already many marketers doing the same kind of ads on the same campaign so my newer ads show very little.

Any ideas? I'm trying to keep the bids as low as possible.

you wanna play it safe. nonetheless you have to increase the traffic/ bids a bit to get valuable data and of course conversions

try to run it at $0.21-$0.25 but don't do it over night else you might wake up to something you wont like.

keep an eye see if it works out for you. Its all about testing testing , optimizing and more testing.

just dont let it slide

Facebook ads stats update in atmost 15-20 min, dont try things overnight.

Have you tried to increase the budget?

Yes I would atleast keep budget for 30-40 $.

You have to create new and attractive ideas as well as have to increase your budget.
