Default Noob question about email submits

Recently set up a direct linking campaign with an email submit offer. I am using more than 100 keywords. Would like to know if it is possible to track which keywords convert for direct linking?

yes you can my friend you can indeed. Which paid platform are you using to drive traffic? If you don't know how to use prosper or tracking 202, you can use network sub id to track the keywords but you need to know the traffic platform code. for example if you are using 7Search you need to use ###KEYWORD### as a sub id end of your affiliate url which should track the keywords.

Bytheway buddy, if you are concentrating on gaining natural traffic then i would seriously recommend the keywords you are targeting to direct a campaign successfully.

absolutely, you should absolutely be tracking your keywords and analyzing them after you get a statistically significant data set. Track track track, test test test

Since you are direct linking use the keyword token as a subid. In many cases (adcenter, adwords, and some others) add {keyword} like this: .....subid1={keyword}

Then check for the results in the network with subids.

But my advice is to stay away from email submit offers. They scrab a lot. You'll notice it that the first day you might be doing a certain number of leads, the next day you'll be getting less than what you got for the same or even more traffic.

If you insist on doing email and zip submit then don't run any offer more than 1 day from any given network.

I hope this helps.

Hey,
You will need more keywords than that...I have pop unders that are ideal for email submit campaigns...starting at $2.50 CPM. Let me know what you think.

Email & ZIP submits generally have high scrub rates compared to other offers.

Prosper 202 is highly recommended for tracking.

I know others have had success with e-mail/zip submits...

But for me I have personally always found it tough to optimize
these campaigns and make them profitable.

if one keyword starts showing a profit, some other keyword
eats it all up and sends you into a loss again.

So a lot of tracking and optimizing will be required to make
e-mail submits work.

As other warriors mentioned above, email and zip submit offers have high scrub rates. This is in terms of money.

In terms of conversion they are only converting when they are new, once everyone has seen them they don't convert well, which means you'll be constantly changing the offer and optimizing for the new one. Too much work for a buck/piece.

In terms of feeling good about your earnings they are all garbage that you wouldn't submit your email to, so you don't want to make money out of someone else's suffering.

Sorry for not responding immediately.

Prosper 202 tracking should do the trick. Once you're set up my guess is that you wont look back.
