hi all. I run on blogger and put a 'follow by email' box on my blog. i can use feedburner to collect the email addresses as they come in. What is the next step after this to build a list? is a list a good way for CPA and PPS? total noob |

I would use list building for harder to convert cpa offers that have bigger payouts. Write a sequence of emails that automatically get sent to people signing up. Search for the term: "soap opera sequence" in this forum or in Google. | |

Also try to give something free to those who register. It will explode your conversion rates

Simple: Spend money to advertise a landing/sqeeze page that captures the and email of people in return for a free "anything" they want. So ---> PPC -> Landing page with: "Enter your name and email ... and you shall receive a free copy of XYZ". Simples! Any questions just let me know, Nick |

Squeeze page is something I would recommend too.If You offer something for Your readers,it should be similar to Your niche.

There would be certain topics that would give you less leverage through an email list ...
However, even in the first example, it is STILL extremely beneficial to build a list first, because as we have all heard and read many times before ... ...people need to be exposed at least 7 times (on average) to a marketing campaign before they start really noticing it! That being said, once you have them on the list, of course you can setup a follow up sequence, giving them tips to help them with their concerns, dismantling their fears, etc... and slowly, bringing them 'home' so to speak (or in other words, preparing them for taking action on your advice...) Now, it doesn't really matter if that is a sale or any other type of action (a subscription, for instance, a free download, etc...) What matters is that you build some trust and make them follow your advice much easier now, after they got a number of emails from you, rather than simply following an initial AD or clicking a link... You will find lots of resources on the forum about list building, do not worry... just scan and look around a bit. In my opinion, Email Marketing trumps any other type of marketing and for me, at least, was the winner! |
