I have Adsense ads on my home page. Can I use this for my Adwords campaign? Will the big "G" suspend my account?

? that is a big thick grey line, it is allowed by G in that the page must provide a good user value per say, but at the same time it makes little to no sense as your paying to send people to the page with ad words, and as such running an arbitrage system is not within the guidelines, From memory using paid traffic specific to getting eye balls on the adsense is also not in the ball park, bottom line a bad call what ever way you try and swing that cat.

what about CPA? Do they have a problem with that? It's a CB review site so I ultimately want people to purchase products. In case they don't, why not have a backup?

ChrisBa is right. You can use AdSense on AdWords landing pages but your pages better be of the highest quality with plenty of content.

you set up an adwords campaign to target a specific set of keywords traffic from each campaign may be directed to one or more landing pages the quality of each target landing page is evaluated relative to the set of keywords chosen, and the ad content so, let's assume that you have good keywords, say K1 and K2, and you have a well-written ad, so a prospect is now all excited about K1 and K2 so they click on your ad... ...only to land on your home page, which has all kinds of information and distractions on it. In general, if the prospect does not find something immediately useful and relevant regarding K1 and K2 in about fifteen seconds, they leave. Result: frustrated prospect, lost sale, and probably a poor quality score. For each adwords campaign, craft a landing page specifically tailored for the prospect. Repeat the keywords in the title (naturally), expand the benefit in your subhead, engage the prospect in the text, and make a single compelling offer with a clear call to action. The more choices, links, ads, distractions, menus, et al that you have on the page the prospect land on, the less you will sell. This is often reflected in analytics by a high bounce rate and a low time-on-site. Yes, creating specific landing pages for each adwords campaign is a lot of work. The question is, do you want to sell things or not? Good luck! | |

I did this for years, but recently had my adsense account suspended indefinitely. I made money since 2005, but last year my account got banned. I was making about $200.00/day. I was using adCenter to push traffic, not adWords. I even contacted Google when things were going well to clarify if I was within their Terms (because it reads wishy-washy). They neve contacted me and banned me a month later. Maybe I would still be fine if I hadn't contacted them and received a manual site review lol. |
