| PPC may be a good place to start. PPV as well. But you have to test different elements of your landing page if you want to convert more subscribers. Testing is the name of the game. Test your headline, your call to action, your list of benefits, your graphics, etc. Test and track your results. Keep what works. Toss out the rest. |

| a "squeeze page" is a page on a web site whose sole purpose is to get the visitor to give you his/her email address, thus joining your mailing list personally, i don't like the term "squeeze page" - visitors are people, not oranges, and presumably your web page is offering them something of value in exchange for permission to contact them (as opposed to mugging them and stealing their contact information!) Note: "Permission Marketing" by Seth Godin is an excellent place to start. |

Another option would be to create a "real" looking site with an overlay of a optin email box (give something away to entice them to fill it out instead of closing it). Maybe cookie it so that you don't bombard them with that box everytime they hit your site. |
