I am trying to figure out the exact lead generation network used by this site. I've received no answers everywhere I've asked, and it's really disappointing. The website is: Phlebotomy Training It has the custom designed layout to match their site where it asks to enter a zip code. Whoever can give me the name of this specific network will have made my day. Thanks! |

Hmmm... it appears that the site is a niche site that's integrated into the Search Schools Network website (Online Degrees, On-Campus Degrees and Certificates - Search) Upon further investigation, Search Schools Network appears to be one of many sites owned by Quin Street (quinstreet.com). They are not an affiliate or cpa network. Rather, they appear to be an agency. Hope this helps. - Jay P.S. You can learn a lot by viewing a site's Privacy Policy and Terms of Use pages |

I was attempting to locate the quin street company as well. Can you provide an update to your progress on how this is going, and if they are accepting any new lead gen pubs? I have a site that would fit perfectly with this niche. |

I was approached by Quin Street for lead gen on an education site I have. I'm about to start testing their lead gen and commission v EduSearch Network who I started with a month ago. So far the attentiveness of affiliate managers for both has been excellent so it will come down to which converts better. My initial impression is that Quin Street's setup allows for more customisation but is a little bit more complicated to implement, ESN was really easy. I'm planning to test both in conjunction with adsense, then as a stand alone without adsense to see which creates the best revenue. I'm hoping it's the latter because frankly I think removing adsense will improve the user experience. If it will help anyone I'll try and keep you posted as to progress. |

Does anyone know where to find a database of vocational schools in the US? The only thing I have found is the database of colleges at scrapingweb.com. This database has some of what I am looking for, but several key programs are not in that database.

Just a quick update. I've spent a little bit of time with zip submits from both Quin Street and Edusearch on one of my sites. Don't take these results as gospel, as it's been a very short period of time, but a couple of things I thought it might be helpful for others to know. Firstly, I think if you have a partnership with either QS or EDS and a site with any decent targetted traffic you will make money. Both have a good spread of options for educational institutions. I said earlier that implementation of the EDS widget was a lot easier. It's stupidly simple. The flip side is that you can't customise it the same way you can for QS - if you know how to edit iframes and have a basic understanding of webcode, you can do pretty much anything you want. The possibilities are endless. CTR and conversion rates were actually reasonably similar over the period I tested them, but that was using an unoptimised form for QS and I hadn't yet integrated the results query into my own site, which would help. In terms of which made more money, the thing about QS is they cross match leads which means you find you get several commissions for what is in effect a single lead. Conversely, the commissions are generally higher on EDS. Overall, I think QS was ahead on how much money actually came in. Both affiliate managers are really good. Bryce at QS is more aggressive in his recruitment and marketing to webmasters, but it's hardly a bad thing to have someone being active when you stand to benefit from your mutual success. Joe at EDS has also been really attentive and very easy to communicate with. EDS pays after 60 days, I think QS is the same (April was my first month, so not sure yet). Bryce actually hastled me for my payment details, which was nice...to use his words 'we do actually wanna pay you'. Last point, if you have adsense on your site, ditch it. Lead gen from either of these two will blow it out of the water. Hope this helps. |
