I see a lot of threads posted lately about where to start with cpa. So here's what I'll tell you: First, apply at 5-10 networks and get accepted. (If you are wondering how to get accepted ... SEARCH )Second, read through the networks FAQ sections. You will find lots of information there that will answer most of your questions or at least steer you in the right direction. MarketLeverage for example, they have video tutorials explaining simple things like CTR, estimating your EPC and how to use sub id's. (these are sure to help most noob's) Third, when you have a question not found after reading through them, then read through Every post on this forum, wicked fire and the cashtactics blog. Finally, when you still have questions after all of that leg work, then feel free to post here and I and several others will be more than glad to help you out. This not only shows you are willing to put in the work to be successful with cpa marketing, but more importantly that you have what it takes. (justify this for yourself) One thing that has helped me to become a successful affiliate marketer is the understanding and ability of figuring things out for myself, and Not simply expecting a silver platter handed to me. I hope this helps you out and will clear up some clutter on this forum so we can look forward to more quality threads and posts. |

Ok, thanks for that, I just have a simple question on which someone may enlighten me. I have been signing up for a lot of networks and I come across a few where they have the same exact sign up form. There are two main sign up forms that I have seen on several different sites. Are they all getting the software from the same companies or something? I wondered if perhaps one company or corporation would have multiple networks, is all.

Yea don't ever sweat a denial...you can always call or go back another time. Even if you get in a single network it's time to start promoting. As you get the hang of it, you will increase your virtural real estate and it only gets easier then.

Getting accepted these days is getting pretty tough in many networks. One of my account managers told me that - since the huge buildup of the Arbitrage Conspiracy - they've been getting inundated with new cpa marketers, so they've become very picky. Even so, it is 100% possible to get accepted - even if you don't have a website of your own. When I started out, I was accepted to 11 of the 12 CPA networks I applied to (I was accepted to the 12th within 8 hours of being turned down using one simple method I learned from a mentor of mine), but I really really knew what they were looking for. That being said, there are a lot of things you can do to make the CPA networks really "want" you to become a member of their network. The biggest would be to act, look, and talk like a professional, not a never-done-this-before newbie. Saying the right things and setting yourself up to look professional - which really does not require developing a website - are more important than ever. Don't give up, the rewards are really incredible and I can't tell you how much I wished I had heard about this earlier. |

Someone had said that I should tell them in the application that I used adwords and to purposely inflate the amount of income that I was making so that it would look good, but will they ask for proof when you call them or is that just for the application. The reason I ask this is because I tried about 10 different cpa networks and got nothing but when I inflated the numbers a little they told me to call them. So I really think they're more interested in how much your making now with other cpa networks. Basically its like aplying for a job you may have to lie a little bit to get in but then what do you do? lie a little more! Arbitrough Conspiracy doesn't tell you that ! yeah the missing golden nugget. |

Hey Mike, I am taking the Arbitrage Conspiracy course and they do not tell you to inflate your #'s. They simply say to apply and then immediately follow up with a phone call. From there, I agree with Joshua who says to simply act professional. If you call them and say something like "I will send quality search traffic to all offers I promote, you will have a much better chance of getting in. When I followed up with Maxbounty and said the above, they accepted me right away and this is the first time I have ever tried CPA. I can def see how people can make tons of money with CPA if they know what they're doing. All the best and good luck with it. Ryan |

Good sound advice. You have to work for what you want and when you do you will be rewarded for what you put into it.

Thanks for the info. I think it really helps to call back and ask them to reconsider. A phone call can do wonders.

Thanks for all the great info. I've only started with CJ and RocketProfit so far but should I wait until I have successful CPA PPC campaigns before I start joining 5-10 other CPA networks or should I join them all now and then work on building a successful YSM PPC campaign that I can duplicate for success with other campaigns? I just don't want to lose focus on creating a successful campaign by playing with a dozen different networks... Thanks, Zen |

Hey Zen, I think the more networks you join the better. Some go down, some pay sooner, some get exclusives, some pay more...and you can always leverage the payout from one network to bump up how much you get paid from another. I had one Aff. Mgr who was wondering why I was not promoting an offer an when I told him I got paid more with another network for the same advertiser he went above and beyond. | |

Thanks Kyle, I just got signed up with a few CPA networks and have been wondering how to do some of the thigns you mentioned (esp. how to use the sub-ids to track). I'm going to go sign up for Market Leverage now and watch those vids.

Thanks honestbizpro, I signed up to a few different ones as recommended by Warriors in other CPA posts and found that the offers available differ from network to another. So now I have more options available for when I learn a new technique I can browse various networks to see who has the perfect offer to match with the technique. Kudos. |
