I was just wondering if any of you have content locked pages in your joomla sites. I want to add content locking to some articles but not all, so I dont want to put the lock code in the main template. Is it possible to add the content lock only to each artcile individually? Thanks in advanced. |

I'm more of a wordpress man than Joomla, but as far as I can see, you should be able to embed the content gateway into individual posts of your choosing. I'm hoping this post here will help you, as it does involve embedding html/php/javascript into joomla posts: Joomla! • View topic - Inserting PHP and JavaScript code in Joomla 1.6 articles |

This depends a little on how you want to do it? It can be done by set access level on that specific article to registered users. And if you add a read more button after a short intro, then the rest of the article is locked to registered users. If you want a more advanced way of doing it,then you could create a content plugin and use specific tags to restrict the text you want hidden. |

You should be able to put it in the template. Just place the code where it says too. Usually in the head.
