content locking is basically putting a "lock" on the page, which the viewers can do an offer that when completed would "unlock" the page so they are able to view the content. So you would make profit from whatever offer they choose to do. Leadbolt is a common content locking website |

![]() On your site you have an attraction/content - the big thing from back in the content locking day was to have movies or tv shows. People would send traffic to their page and before people could view the videos they had to fill out offers, once the offer or offers were completed, then the visitor could access the content (videos in this example )

Hi ChrisBa, Thanks for the feedback. I know about content locking as it is used to, say, ask a reader for an FB like before they can read the content, or along those lines. I just had been hearing about it being done regarding CPA offers and was not sure how it was applied in that arena. In CPA, to do content locking, do we need to use specific networks for that where they allow that feature? I'm thinking the answer is 'yes.' On a different application of the concept, is it allowed if we wanted to put content behind a lock to, say, ask for a FB like before they can see the offer? I am thinking in terms of having a blog post or page that when people land on the page, in order to read the whole post/page that has a link to the offer, they need to click 'like.' I know it isn't forcing them to do the offer, but it might help with traffic. Thanks ![]() Tracy

After they complete any one offer, lock will be removed automatically and they can access the content. Yes there are many networks which are specialist in content locking. But I suggest you to go with blamads and adscendmedia.

![]() I've been getting some great information from your post here. Thanks for that. I did actually understand what ChrisBa was saying as far as the CPA networks and how they do content locking (at least I think so, having never seen it in action ). The different application I mentioned in my post was just one I thought of and wondered if it was allowed. Maybe I didn't make myself clear there . I know that that isn't how content locking through a CPA network goes. I appreciate you telling me about those 2 networks. I will check them out. Thank you. On a slightly different topic, which networks do you recommend for incentivized offers? I eventually want to do offline promotion and such where that would need to be allowed. Thanks again, Naveen. For incentivized offers go for blamads. They are the best in this business and regarding you question on using facebook like/share, I would suggest you to place the fb share button near the tittle of the the post/product which the visitors gets after the content is locked. This could bring you lot of traffic those fb shares.
