Hi everyone, I'm quite new to CPA marketing...but I have ran a few tests promoting cpa offers offline... Recently I got a college student to hand out flyers at her college for an email submit offer (freeiphone 4s)...in total about 1000 leaflets were handed out, and I made $25 ($1.60 per lead) Since I paid her $30, I actually lost money... And then I put a QR code on the leaflet for a different offer, which once scanned redirected to the cpa offer (this was again email submit to win an ipad2) Again 1000 leaflets handed out at a college, but I only got 1 response ($1.60) I'm starting to think email submits don't work! What offers should I promote that generally get a good response from college students? any tips to increase conversions? thanks |

Hi- College's are good ways to make money from CPA offers and many people are cashing good money from it too.. If you are targeting college students then I highly recommend you to target their weakness's like what a college student wants or what sort of gadget will make him look cool in college ,etc I've seen that college students have a unique brain of standing out of crowd and make themselves popular in college... check out whats latest in gadgets and and check an offer for that... Make a top converting a very attractive flyer ! shoot again your flyers... I hope this will work for you Regards ~Sam~ |

I've heard that educational CPA offers convert well at colleges such as scholarship offers. They have a better payout than email submits also, usually about $3.50-$4.50 per lead. Instead of paying a college student a fixed amount to put out flyers, you could pay them on a performance basis. i.e. give them 20% of the earnings. You could say you'd provide them screenshots, etc.. so they'll know how much you've earned. Then at least if a campaign fails and results in no conversions, you won't lose anything. |

You shouldn't just promote random free x offers. First of all their CPA Rate is ridiculously low ($1-$2). You should first think of what college students want. Look into niches such as: Loans, Scholarships (these pay like 10-40 bucks a lead), or even possibly Insurance. The point is, if you get a double digit CPA Offer (for example 20 bucks), and even if you get 5 rather than 20 conversions from the free x offer, you will make so much more money. |
