I'm a long time Warrior (mostly ebook and offline stuff) and want to move to CPA because quite frankly, I know I have the skills and want the big money now. I have a REALLY good concept to make as much as I can before Dec 26 but am having issues with Adwords yet once again. They keep denying my ads with the reason being the Landing Page not containing enough content or value. This is REALLY making me mad because isnt that the whole purpose of using Adwords is so you do not have to waste time creating content? They are requiring something that sort of slows the customer down from getting to their goal (and slowing my profit). I've had this problem before with a few affiliate managers asking not to use that method but this is not the case here, it is now google's issue. Is there a way around this? I may use facebook ultimately, but I have had good success with adwords and would have preferred to stay with google. Not so much with facebook but know I have the skills to learn it fast, just not the time. Any advice? Really new to this CPA stuff and know I can make it work once I have my ideas tested and running. |

Google is all about relevency! you see from Google's point of view they want to provide THE BEST experience for the user. In return the user will love Google and use it over other Search engines. So having said that, you LP sites can no longer be just a few pages like, LP, privacy page, terms & conditions page, contact us page. You really need to create a sort of mini site with 10-20 relevant optimized articles. Your Quality Score (QS) will depend on how related your LP's heading and content is to the SEARCHED KEYWORD. So if the person searches for "how to stop a dog from barking" and you title says "How to stop dog barking" or "how to stop a dog barking" then you will get a high QS. But if you have your title and content as "Dog training tips, tricks" and the later on down the page you have a section called : "Stop a dog barking" then your QS will be lower. And a low QS means a high CPC. there are other search engines like msn adcenter & 7search that do not have a QS issue. But Google has the most traffic. Hope this helps... |

oh and as you are getting into for PPC (& CPA) be prepared to spend between $250 to $500 on testing. Aslo be prepared to lose money at first - but please do not give up and see the money not as wasted - but as EDUCATION! It's better than buying any course. If you want to learn how to do PPC the correct way - sign up to Gauher Chaudhry's bolg (just google his name) and download his 85 page CPA report. It will be the best thing you did. |

Hi John, Yeah, I know what you mean about Google. Actually, one thing you could try to do is put your landing page material above the fold, and then below the fold, add some relevant content, such as blog posts. Use a single column WP theme, or you could obviously code in html, but keep it one column so you minimize viewer distractions. In this way, you have content that satisfies Google and the visitor who scrolls down and cares to read your material, and also have what you want the viewer to see right in front of their face (your offer) like you want. Just a thought. Best wished for success and happiness ![]() Tracy |

DZ, I highly agree with the testing. That was my purpose of setting it up that way before I went all out with flyers, facebook, etc. I do this for my offline clients all the time. VERY valuable information from that google loop regarding a market. I think my issue is with the idea of having to put days into creating 10 to 20 pages of content when i know it is simply not needed in my case (but can certainly be done). From my experiences with selling my ebook (which provides a good income) is the more you slow down a customer from getting what they want (your product or an affiliates product) the more likely you are to lose the sale to someone else. But as this is a whole new area for me, I am DLing that report you spoke of to learn so thanks. Tracy, that is a really good idea and one I think I could get by google pretty easy and more importantly faster. I'm a believer in Ready, Shoot Aim theory and am learning the importance of that more and more (especially in IM) so any solutions that are fast to get around this issue with google are appreciated. |

Be VERY careful RentItNow. Promote a low quality score landing page/ad too many times and your account can get banned FOR LIFE. Google wants a landing page that has content and links to other pages around your website besides the usual privacy policy, about us, etc. Don't promote what they call a "bridge" page which the typical squeeze is often flagged as. Good luck. |

Landing pages associated with Google have to not look like landing pages, essentially. What you do want is a landing page that has the site looking like a normal site. Not one that looks like you're there to be promoted too.
