Default Question About PPV Advertising

I'm planning to start a PPV campaign on some zip or email submit offers.. Maybe some giftcards or some freebies.

So the question is... Should I use a splash landing page or should I direct it to the offer itself?

Do you have other methods how to use PPV advertising?

Thanks!

Custoom lander for sure, learn some HTML and just do a lander with either a href for the whole image, or you can do tables and make one part of the image, say like a button be clickable for your link. PPV Traffic assault goes into this is very fine detail. Mark Stafford has a way legit product. Do you have Photoshop or Dreamweaver?

Better conversions (EPC is much more steady) by using landing pages for email/zip submit offers on ppv traffic

You should try both out and test to see what works better, never limit yourself by just doing one way, always try multiple things and ways.. and test to see what works better

split test with two versions of landers and a direct link and send a third of traffic to each

make sure the two versions of lander are totally different and go from there

Also... With many CPA Networks now allowing you to "pre-pop" your offers.... PPV is a nice way to gather opt-ins to your own list on your lander, then pass them to the actual CPA offer, passing along their email address so it's already in the field when they get to the offer page!!!

This is solid advice and something many affiliates completely look over.

Personally I go with a landing page, remember PPV is interruption marketing, you need to snap the viewer out of there current state of mind and thought and lead them to your site. You are going to need a pretty damn compelling reason for them to even pay attention and a lander is the perfect way to pre-sell a viewer.

By linking direct you are simply asking your viewer to take it or leave it, a lander gives you the opportunity to hit a viewer emotionally and convince them of why they need the product/service etc

Landing page works better most of the time.

For this, you can simply take a screenshot of the offer page,
tweak it to make it better and to make it visible in the
800 X 600 area or whatever.

Thanks,
Dean.

it seems the last things i wrote in the other thread applies here as well, we explored about every possible tactic out there for building the sites, to marketing to monetizing, many worked, many didn’t. if you would like an overview of all of it, my url is in the profile, mention to the chat specialist "warrior forum" and they will put you in touch with me, or pm me.

Set up a few landing pages in the niche you're targeting and what your CTR to see which performs best.
