CTR = Click Through Rate, the percentage of CLICKS the ad receives for each IMPRESSION. Generally speaking, anything above 0.1 has some potential. Also, the higher your CTR, the lower you COST PER CLICK |

CTR means click through rate and only Google of all the Pay Per Click search engines operate using it. Clickthrough rate (CTR) is a way of measuring the success of an online advertising campaign. The clickthrough rate of an advertisement is defined as the number of clicks on an ad divided by the number of times the ad is shown (impressions), expressed as a percentage |

Why guys you are saying that 0.2% is decent CTR? I never leave ads live when ctr is below 0.3% it's just not make me good profit.

This allows me to run the ads with a slightly lower CTR so long as there is still a positive ROI on the backend. | |

CTRs will inevitably go down over time. Mixing visual impressions is crucial.

^ ^ If you're from Utah, then "CTR" means Choose-The-Right. (sorry, that was lame, but that's what I think of every single time I see it.) Yeah, your click through rate is pretty good for Facebook. See if you can split test to see what will get you a higher one. |

Some experienced marketers say that if CTR is below .5% it should be stoped/paused/deleted without any doubts.

.2% should be plenty good enough for you to be pulling in money.

Yes, .2% CTR in Facebook is good. How good depends on the ad and offer type as well as the target. As HairyPoppins stated (love the name) it should be giving you a low enough cost to make profit on a number of offers. Of course this depends on what you are doing. I've had ads well above the .4-.5% CTR which cost anywhere from .02-.05 and due to the region, offer availability and payouts, I was not able to make a profit from it. This was a test campaign, direct linking. Again, depends on what you do with it. Ultimately if your EPC is more than your CPC... But going back to the 'is it a good ctr' question, yes it is. If you can be consistent with that across various verticals, you should be able to get positive ROI. Thanks, Danny |

CTR means Clickthrough rate.It measures the number of clicks advertisers receive on their ads. If you have a high CTR, that means that users find your ads relevant and helpful. |

CTR is click through rate. Having that CTR is okay, but could be better. I like to keep my CTR anything 1.+ for those type of targeted ads.

CTR-click-through rate, the ratio of the number of times a user clicks on an online advertisement per number of viewers who view the Web site that has the advertisement on it. For example, if one out of 100 people who visit a specific Web site click on an advertisement and are taken to the advertiser's site, then the CTR of that advertisement is 1/100, or 1%.

If your talking about Facebook ads, then you should be aiming for: a high CTR, low CPC (cost per click) and a high 'Connections' figure (how many fans like your fan page). The connections are more likely to opt in to your mailing list via the opt in box on your Facebook fan page. Get this calculation right and you will reach the stars.
