I'm considering just trying to throw some offers out there on my autoblog network, which gets around 12,000 ad impressions p/ day. I'm curious if it's even worth my time? I've only ever used AdSense.. and it makes me a few thousand a month, but I'd love to find success without depending on AdSense. As it's an autoblog system (over 200 sites), I have a wide variety of niches and targeting traffic for each site sounds like a lot of man hours that I don't have. Last month, I was over 400,000 page impressions for the month (running higher than usual here at the holiday season) and am on track for the same results this month. I can't help but think that there's some kind of offers that might convert for this kind of traffic.. even though it would be non-targeted. Thoughts? Suggestions? Thanks! |

It might bring in a few conversions every now and then, but it wont be anything close to what targeted traffic would bring. Try it out anyway though, you wont know for sure until you try. Just dont expect it to make a fortune. lol |

CPC and CPM work better for non-targeted traffic

You would need very broad offers that appeal to a lot of people to be in with a chance of getting anything. Worth putting something up and testing it out but I wouldnt think you will make much at all.....but happy to be proved wrong |

Looks like you have to try in order to know ![]() I would go to broad offers as well, if I couldn't go for niche offers depending on the content. |

Depends on the offer, obviously. Yes, sometimes general offers especially during the holiday season work.... if the offer would interest a broad based audience.

you can't really rely on un-targeted traffic. It's costly and you may even get zero conversions.
