Per per view refers to the service from which the audience can purchase events to view a private telecast while Cost Per View is a kind of an online advertising. Hope that helps |

PPV = pay per view and CPV = Cost per view, So difference is in pay per view you pay some amount for each view and in cost per view each view costs you some amount,Kidding both are same |

PPV and CPV are both exactly the same thing. How much does it cost to get a person to view whatever you are offering. |

Magnus is actually correct. Pay-Per-View is where you order an event ( movie, sports, etc ) through your service provider or someone else's service provider. Before you receive the event, you have to pay. "Pay-per-view" related to CPV is just a name that Gauher coined who knows how long ago? (At least he is the one who claims he coined the phrase). |

Actually, I think PPV is more well known of the two.

PPV was coined by a marketer who wanted it to match his other $1997 course titles more closely. It's actually the incorrect term for the traffic. The correct term is CPV, (cost per view), but they're used interchangibly now. |

it's same thing as others said. It's just people call it in a different name to create confusion |
