Default Silly Me ...

A few days ago, I set up a test campaign in one of the 2nd tier PPC search engine network in order to look at the keyword prices and competition. Didn't realize the campaign was active and lo and behold, when I login today, $30+ went down the drain. I actually had yahoo.com as the link destination and sent many paid visitors to yahoo

Was that dumb or what?

Maybe if you ask yahoo nicely, they'll help pay for the traffic you sent!

But yeah, that was bad. Always put a time limit on a test ad lol.

Hey buddy,

your story brings up some painful memories lol

Well it's all a learning curve, don't see this as money wasted, think of it as money invested in your education and your future

We are always learning from our mistakes. PPC is that method where you should watch your campaigns carefully. As you see one mistake making a high/low loss for you. Good luck next time!

Don't worry it could happen to anybody. Be more careful next time.

A way to promote a blog is to submit blog to BlogsAvenue.Com and another site for blog submission is BlogrollCenter.Com.

I've done something similar with ppv before, it cost me a lot more than $30 though! As long as we learn from our mistakes it's not a total loss!

It gets even better. The only reason I logged in is because the network deleted the keywords after telling me that they are irrelevant to the link.

Always good to double check before you log out. This is common but shouldn't happen in the first place.
