So I was thinking the other day.. Why not open up a CPA shop. By this I mean why not rent a small space in a busy mall with high footfall. You would have several computers each with a different offer. Customers would come in and pick the offer that suits them best. I.e win a free iPad or a free $500 Walmart gift card.

The rent would be steep I know, but with most offers paying out around $1 per lead, and the footfall of a busy mall I'm sure there's profit to be made

Funny idea? I thought it was quite an interesting idea. You could always target the $2+ offers and it wouldn't be unreasonable to think that someone may fill in 2 offers while in the shop.

I don't live in the US but iv traveled there and seen some of the busy malls. It's not hard to see 1000+ visitors a day to the shop.

We have seen countless tests were peoria hand out leaflets in busy places and have made thousand in a day. If you could get the customer into the shop then you wouldn't have to rely on the going home, having to log onto the computer to complete the offer. And you could also target a larger audience with a number of offered covering a large demographic

You will need to give these people something in return for filling out an offer and the CPA networks will see this as "incentivized Traffic" that most don't allow.

Good idea except all these people would be using the same IP and cpa networks would not like that.

it's just good as a idea my friend. Thing is people only think about getting the opt-in and making the quick buck but you also need to think about the back end. After they submit their email they need to go ahead and participate on the following offer and i don't think people would spend time doing that wile they out to shop.

Next problem will be your ip address and user agent. you will be generating boat load of conversion from same ips. That's going to flag your account.

These are some problems out of many. But still its a good idea tho Lol

I've actually heard of this before - it's pretty much the same as what many of these companies are doing by renting out space and giving away a 'free gift' for completing their surveys - all i can say is you will need to speak with your AM to reach out and explain the plan to ensure that the offer(s) you are using will allow this - you will likely be receiving all your traffic from the same IP so you need to be up front and work closely with your AM's..

You will get scrubbed to death, and maybe even dropped by the advertisers for running traffic from the same IP. Not to mention that word-of-mouth will spread quickly about your store. Get a few people pissed off about the "hoops" they have to jump through to get the IPad, and your customer base will steadily decline to nothing.

Offline is FAR different from Online.

Now, create your own "unique" offer and build a back-end list, and I'd say you may be on to something!

I'd speak to your affiliate manager first before setting up anything simple because you could put up a huge budget and then find out they don't allow it.
