Are there any others which you'd consider better or on par with the above?

The reason I ask is because I developed a custom tracking application for an internet marketer a while back, he mentioned something about 2 above not offering what my application did.

We spoke more and I'm looking to move forward with this idea.

So, my question is...what do you look for in tracking software? Is there something which current tracking software has not implemented which would be greatly useful? Things you'd like to see removed or changed in the above?

Basically, whatever you consider to be your perfect tracking app for CPA etc could become reality in the near future. Technically, anything is possible

BevoMedia.com is another good option.

-integrate external link tracking statistics and show on a map where all clicks come from, similar to service like clickmeter.com, (this is for external links outside of your site)
-allow the ability to show/change/specify links for certain states, and countries, and if IP comes from certain country allow the ability to change the link to that (geo target offers)
-show conversions and cost data by keyword, or URL (for ppv traffic) on map or list by country
-show lots of good charts, custom date ranges etc, w3roi.com has nice charts but its hosted
-make it self hosted
-allow to import adwords or any search engine cost data
-allow subid import from networks
-allow import of data from ppv networks and also ability to export changed bids on URLs (for ppv)
-good keyword tracker and allow tokens in URLs to know which keyword, ad, adgroup, campaign conversion came from similar to cpvlab
-allow to hide or specify refferr when creating tracking links
-capability to block traffic from IPs
-ability to export all data to excel


basically take all the features of cpvlab, the nice charting features of w3roi.com, and all the external link tracking abilties of clickmeter.com into a great self hosted script

I've found cpvlab to be the easiest solution. I can also launch campaigns really fast.

I'd stick with prosper 202. They've definitely helped the tracking for my campaigns and many others. Although, you can always branch out and test others.

I think it'd be nice to make addons, e.g. integrating WhatRunsWhere into the CP.

WhatRunsWhere is a competitive intelligence tool for online media buyers. It's powerful but obviously its not a tracking software, haha

There is always the possibility to be better than the best, just gotta work at it

One thing to also consider is the price of all the current solutions and see if you can be competitive and still make money

CPVLab is a must for all affiliate marketers who run paid traffic sources such as PPC, PPV, Social, Mobile, Media buys, Email... They have some features far more powerful and flexible than P202 or Bevo
