Default Anyone have success with GPT sites?

In the process of setting up a GPT (get paid to) website. I feel like there are a TON of these websites but it seems like such a good idea. I have a guy creating a custom GPT script. Was wondering if anyone has any experience in creating one of these sites and if so do you have any advice? Trying to think how I would go about promoting a site like this as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

Before I learned about internet marketing I was making few bucks from GPT websites (I'm not adult so making big money isn't in my interest).

GPT seems great but actually it's waste of time because personally I haven't joined any stable systems which counts every lead.
Many GPT websites have same problems:
- not enough offers
- bad referral system
- poor support
- bad payment system.

promoting GPT websites aren't too hard, you have to research websites where people are discussing GPT, PPT and such websites.
I know many of such websites and forums, one of them is talkprize.com (I guess 1 year later it was biggest one), you have to track your GPT websites reputation on such forums, if someone will ever say that your GPT isn't paying - you will never have new members anymore. but if someone will say that you are paying - you will have thousands of new users everyday.

Mainly that's your GPT website's users will promote website because that's they need referrals.
Also referral contests (like 100$ to a guy who will gain register most referrals in 1 week or so)

Let me know your questions, I know many things in GPT and will be happy to help you to build successful GPT website.

- Nick.

My advice: Only deal with reputable incentivized CPA Networks that have been around for a long time, and then you really don't have much to worry about getting paid from them.

All the best

If you can prevent people from using proxies then you could easily get success with GPT sites if you join some reputable incentive networks.

I am currently with a reputable incentive cpa network with over 800 offers so that should be good enough to start with ;D, also nikabika97 can you provide me with some of the top GPT forums where I can find these users. Thanks!

I actually run a fairly successful GPT website (Gonna put some hard work into it after new years is out of the way) and can not emphasis the importance of having neccisary funds beforehand.

I made the mistake of spending all my money on the script, design and marketing and found out that I couldn't actually pay my end users. Most affiliate companies pay on a net30 basis (I have managed to negotiate weekly with a couple of the good ones down to proven traffic over past months) so you need to make sure you have the funds available if your site explodes... Or don't market it that much... Sounds stupid but you really need to keep track of cash flow or you will get burnt badly... Trust me!

If you need any help feel free to pm me and I can get you started , I wish someone was there for me when I started so dont mind giving people a hand up in the GPT world!

Andy

Never put all your eggs in one basket. Join 2-3 different reputable networks, i personally recommend cpaway, pointclicktrack, adscendmedia and blamads. Good luck

I've owned a GPT site for 4-1/2 years and I've owned an affiliate network, that caters to GPT sites, for almost 2 years. The biggest problem with GPT sites these days is fraud. It's more prevalent now than in years past because of all the sites that have gone to daily payouts, with a very low mimimum cash-out. When all sites paid Net30 it wasn't nearly as bad. The daily payouts allow the frauders to hit and run and, if offers get reversed, there's no way to recoup the money that's already been paid out. Sure, their account can go into the negative but you'll never see them again. The best advice I can give you is to make sure you have measures in place to try and prevent this from happening, including proxy detection, as Naveen wrote. You also need to be able to lock the funds for high-paying or trial offers so you don't have to pay out for those until you get paid.

It'll take a while, but you can make some nice money with a successful GPT site. This won't happen overnight but, if you do the work and promote your site, it'll start to pay off.

Man, if you are serious about internet marketing.. then forget GPT websites! Go to the next level bro, these sites won't get you anywhere beyond the 1.5$ a day!

Read what the OP actually posted before you post. He is wondering if he should own one or not.

I tried joining in GPT sites too before. But it is very hard to upgrade now on those sites if you want to earn more from the clicks of your referrals or rent referrals because some GPT sites often easily turned to scam site..

SImply, because GPT sites like Neobux and Clixsense are BIG and I don't know if anyone can compete with these guys.
Neobux and Clixsense are PTC bux sites actually. The GPT sites what we talked about here are websites like cashcrate.com, prizelive.com and treasuretrooper.com

I recently bought into this GPT hype and got a website and loaded offers but now I need to know how to promote it. I keep hearing to promote it on other sites that reference GPT. I just don't want to go broke with ads. Got any suggestions?

I wouldn't put ClixSense in that category. If anything, it's actually what's unique about the program is what makes it stand out from other PTC sites.

Read the rules!

The best way is to get your members to do the promoting for you by getting their referral links out there. You can run referral contests that encourage people to post about your site. To get started I would suggest you Google such things as money making forums, GPT forums, work at home forums, etc. If you post in these places it won't cost you anything. But be careful to follow the rules of the forums and only post where you're allowed to.

Hope that helps!

I agree with mtmjohn on never putting all your eggs in one basket. This is a rookie mistake people make when they move to a larger scale business. Spread out and use what is there to be used.

What CPA network is it that your with? I would really like to know. 800 incentive offers sounds pretty good. Especially if it's a reputable one. I'll even sign up under your affiliate link.

Hi, how about Clixsense? You can advertise there by buying some credit that cost above $3. I joined Cpalead.com and i can see a lot of people have made almost $10k in a month. They have locking offer not like usual CPA though.

if you want to make good money with GPT site, you need to spend a LOT of time everday to achieve it,well,i know somebody make several thousands bucks/month from neobux or some other similar site, but if you want to make big money, you definitely should try other way like SEO,CPA,etc

I have success but to say not too much but it is decent

I have owned 3 gpt sites before and sold the other two because of some paypal issues..

I now own www(.)gptstar(.)com

I designed and coded all my gpt sites..By the way i learnt designing and coding only for desing my gpt sites !

I am earning like 500$+ from my gpt site but i am sure i could earn like 2k+ if i work more hard..

So the advise that i have for you is :

  • You should get a good script like shiftcode and not get worthless cheap ones.
  • You should join the popular, fast paying affiliate networks with lots of offers
  • You should have some money before you start if in case you need to pay many members. As if you make members wait then they will never come back to the site.
  • You have to be patient and that is the most important part..Work Hard And Be Patient !!

These will make you success in your GPT life !!

Good Luck Bro !
