Hi Warriors, I'm a newbie trying to get some money to open a website, I have a google's 100$ coupon that is about to expire, I created a free page on weebly as a landing page to promote a rapbank product, I wrote the article on the page even though English is not my native language. I want to ask, Is this a good idea? would I get banned from adwords? Do I have to do cloacking? bit.ly? I remind you guys again I'm a total newbie but I study a lot this forum, I'll appreciate any advice, the site is on my signature. |

Well i don't think Google going to accept your ads in first place because you are using free service, not your own hosted website. 2nd it's very hard to get Google accept your ads when you are trying to sell affiliate products( if that is the case) . Some people get away with it with some blogs because they have privacy policy, contact form etc to get around it. Well you can give it a go buddy and see what happens. Don't get hanged up on things. |

I'll try, lets see. It is for promoting an affiliate product, I'm worry about getting banned, maybe I'll create a privacy policy and contact form, I just want to make use of the coupon...

Google will not approve your ads. They hate affiliates link. The trick is you need to create a squeeze page first, collect email, after you have your mailing list you can promote your Rapbank products. |

I agree. You're using Google's free $100 voucher, so as long a you don't spend more than that then you can't be worse off.

Since my last post on Thursday I followed aminur's advice and created a privacy policy and all that, after that I created a campaign that right now is still eligible, all the keywords are with a quality score of 5, only one is with 7 (I would like to know why) the price for keywords that google set me is of 1,96$, anyways I'm still waiting for approval, oh and I put links to my product with bit.ly for avoiding any risk. I'm looking now to follow elexmedia advice of collecting mails and get rid of any link to the product. Taking action and gaining experience from it, is necessary for success but a lot of newbies, including me, fall into the trap of needing certainty before acting, that's why we have to force ourself to take risks, let's see what happen, thanks. |

Try putting two opt in form, one is floating opt in. Then send the offer later. |

Google also hates most thin squeeze pages with a big opt-in box on the page. You have to almost make it look like your main objective is to not collect their information. Instead, they want highly informative based sites, if that makes sense.

Google doesn't hate affiliates...they hate what affiliates do. I run a ton of stuff as an affiliate on Google. Stay away from CPA offers and Clickbank generally. I wouldn't recommend starting with AdWords though. If you are set on doing paid search, Bing would be a better choice. |

Just read google's landing page guidelines and webmasters guidelines. They claim to allow affiliate links Quote:
Today I got accepted by a cpa network, Is CPAway, I'm glad about it. It seems that my efforts in promoting an offer are going to be more recompensed than promoting a digital affiliate product. I'm going to use free methods for driving traffic to cpa offers, mostly article marketing, so I'm giving up on pleasing google, if I try ppc in the future I'll start with microsoft adcenter as ppv affiliate suggest. Even without having success I learned a lot on ppc and adwords so if you act and fail you still win something because you learn, thanks for the help. | |

Running affiliate campaigns like this on Google will just get your account banned... When using Google, build complete websites with content pages and deliver useful info. Then, capture leads and promote offers with an autoresponder series. W
