What do you guys prefer to use to build your landing pages? Anyone use Blogger or Wordpress or Weebly? I really like Weebly, but I just found out that you have to pay if you want to make more than 2 sites. I know blogger and wordpress are totally free and I would only have to pay for the domain name. Any opinions or experiences? |

I actually prefer to make my landing pages through HTML but if I had to choose I would go with Wordpress. Tons of customization options and plugins to help you out.

Has to be wordpress everytime for me. There are plenty of great free themes out there to get you started that will do just fine. I love optimizepress though because you can use it for just about any type of page that you want to set up. Looks very professional, easy to use and comes with great video training.

If you don't have money, you can get yourself a free domain at dot.tk (just a suggestion). Or you can get a wordpress.com domain and have it hosted on wordpress. | |

| I dont know why all warriors saying wordpress ...wordpress but i really like blogger due to its following free features : you can edit HTML of blogger template ( But in wordpress you need to purchage hosting, you cat edit template html) Very fast to edit and getting index in google in less then 2 to 3 days. by the way i am also goes with wordpress if you have some extra cash in your bank. but i like this blogger ..suppppp one thing how i think you should remember blogger is the application of google and they are always good so my rating: If you can pay some cash 1.Wordpress 2. weebly 3.blogger if you have no cash: 1.blogger 2.weebly 3.wordpress if you want to make only single landing page: weebly is the best hope my post will help you thanks |

Yes, you can simply use different email addresses to create new Weebly accounts. I've made several pages in the past and never paid for the upgrade. I agree with the guy who said you came make easy 1 page sites with it too. If you can't pay for a domain and hosting, it is a pretty good alternative. However, the problem with Weebly, Blogger, etc. is that it will put THEIR name in your domain, thus maybe creating some discredit. Also, they will have FULL CONTROL of your website. I've never found it to be a problem, but you never know and always want to control every aspect of your own site. Optimize Press + WordPress is for sure the best you can do ( unless you know how to code HTML ), but comes with a price tag. That's my opinion for what it's worth. |

Of the options you're considering, I'd give another vote to Wordpress.

I only use wordpress but I heard other warriors prefer making theirs in html. I don't recommend blogger, not because it is complicated or anything but I think it best suits being a part of a link wheel than being a landing page. Ryuchi |

Wordpress for normal "content" landing pages and a tool called "Video Squeeze Page Creator" or OptimizePress for squeeze pages. Wordpress is a lot better than Weebly or Blogger, you can customize everything and overall it's the best CMS for beginners out there, I believe. |

If you have no cash, go for weebly.com Pls note that blogger and wordpress.com do not allow affiliate links on their free blogs. You may get away with it but you have to continue looking over your shoulder However weebly.com does allow affiliate links. |

I think WordPress is your best bet. I use WordPress, Blogger, Squidoo, and HTML. For a beginner I would use WordPress. It makes SEO easy, and it has tons of plugins to enhance your website. |

The WordPress vs Blogger debate is a perennial topic on this board. Usually about 98% of the people who express an opinion support WP and criticize Blogger. I will not say a word against WP. But I will say that the overwhelming majority of people on this board misunderstand Blogger and don't know a fraction of its wonderful features. I am not paid by Blogger, so I will not point by point counter the criticism people make of Blogger. All I will say is that if you dig deep into the well of good features of Blogger you will be amply rewarded. IMHO it really is a wonderful gift, if you know how to use it. |
