I live in a small city with 3 colleges - Lot's of opportunity..and I want to take advantage of this. I can design posters and can distribute easily.. (and of course - I can set up a custom domain) Any good suggestions for a high conversion rate among students? |

I've heard that an effective strategy is to personalize the URL of your offer domain for the college you are targeting. For instance, if you were creating an IPhone for Boston University students, you should acquire a domain like "bostonuniversityfreeiphone.com" to give students a feeling of exclusivity. You would also mention the university name in the copy of your flier, e.g. "Boston University Students -- Claim Your Free IPhone Today! Limited Time Offer!" I also live near several colleges and have been considering this method. Give it I shot -- I'd love to hear your results! |
