I recently finished making a short ebook in spanish for internet marketing and want to give it away with a content lock as the only requirement. The only problem is that none of the domains and hosting plans i own are in any way related to internet marketing, and i really dont want to spend money on a new one just for that ebook download.

I ask the more experienced members of this board to help me out with some tips or any info you can share on what i can do to create a landing page for my ebook and be able to content lock it with one of the networks i'm affiliated with.

I have heard of people masking their domain names into something more generic, but i dont want my entire website to be masked, so if i can just change the domain name in a single article or something similar then i could use that. But i also need to know if this takes me over the whitehat edge or not.

Another solution i have thought of would be to use a free website service that allows content locking. But i haven found any as of yet.

I'm pretty much just waking in the dark in this situation and any light to show me the way would be greatly appreciated.

You can use blogger.com. Just paste your content locking code into the head tags of your blogspot pages html code.

Thanks a bunch John, that will do just fine. One question though, can i also use regular cpa banners in blogger?

It seems you don't want to buy a new domain for your content locking site. If so, you can get a free domain at dot.tk.

From what you wrote it seems you already have a hosting, so you can host this .tk domain privately.

Trevor, that has got to be the some of most useful advice i have received in here. I had no idea you could buy free domain names and redirect them to your existing hosting plans.

I signed up in less than a minute and had my redirected domain ready!
