The Rise And Rise of Adchoice

I have started noticing that many sites are now using adchoices.

Some have even dropped adsense altogether.

Ezinearticles even has adchoice in mix with adsense now.

I suspect that some sites were probably banned by Google and hence went over to adchoices. I however don't think that explains it all.

Any idea guys? Or is it just the fanciful name? I do like the name though

Well, I've seen many people who have been banned from Adsense looking for other ad platforms, so maybe Adchoice is just the one that most people are choosing... Google bans a lot of people everyday, so this would be a good explanation.

If they have good ads and generate a decent amount of clicks, poeple who used to make money with adsense and lost their accounts would certainly give them a shot.

The same thing. Google changed the adsense label from ads by google to adchoices, lol

Google has replaced "i" and "Ads by google" label to "Adchoice". They have done it long ago. You will see "Ads by Google" only in "Five link units" Ad.
