Default incentivized CPA offer question. [any AMs here? pls help]

okay so this is what i know of incentive cpa offers, you can offer some benefits to the person who completes an offer or something like a bribe for them to complete offers.

so it can be in the form of any of this, but not limited to : cash, e-cash, e-token, points, free gift, etc.

so here is the thing, can i ask my friend or my class to just fill up some freebie offers like "get an ipad 2" cpa incentive allowed offer and give them some money.
because if that is the case then its very easy to earn.

on the other hand some how i feel that it wont be that easy if not everyone will be doing it.

BUT then again, i was thinking and reasoning about the logic, what is the difference if u bribe a stranger and u bribe your friend. ?

the fact that the advertiser list his offer allowing incentive means he wants u to bribe people into completing the offer, and he wants the info that the offer requires, it can be a survey, or contact details for further future advertising.

so what does it matter if its my friend or a stranger that i bribed. ?

he gets what he wants, some opinion if its a survey, or some contact details if he wants to further advertise to them.

so to me logically reasoning and deducting, it should be allowed, but somehow i feel in my gut it wont be allowed somehow.

trying to contact Account Managers to see if this can be done.
any account managers here?

You should ask that question your affiliate manager. They are the ones who will tell you exactly what you are allowed to do and what not.

yeah you can do that with cash incent email submit offers, but most shave and don't convert well. I've seen cash incent offers pay almost 100$ and you can also do free trial incent offers but that takes a credit card.

yes, as mentioned above, its quite hard to do when your leads keep getting shaved.

1. Monthly SEO performance plan
2. Link Building Packages
3. VAs rental

Pain is a perception, so is defeat, self esteem & happiness !

The thing is that while this may be an option, how much money can you really make, especially when not every lead will credit? That's not because of shaving but for other reasons the advertiser doesn't accept the lead such as demographics, caps, etc. Normally, you need volume to make money with incent. I don't think that this would be the way to go. Please remember that all rules must be followed when completing offers and real and valid information must be used. Also, most offers require that users be 18 years of age to complete the offers. You'd almost be better off opening a GPT site and getting your class members to sign up - if they're 18 or older, of course. While making money on the internet isn't hard, it IS work and takes time. There's no easy way out.

maybe it would help too if you could list some networks that allow this kind of offers?

becareful there. that might be considered as advertising.

but anyways, my opinions on content locking are not really very good. or i should say impression.

1.by putting too much ad on your site, it will spoil the impression of ur site and the image and destroy the outlook too. and this includes content locking. imagine going to a very reputable site or a very "nice" site in general, and u are asked to fill up something before being able to see the site, immediately it spoils the experience, and ur impression change.

well at least for me.

2. and most often then now, i always close those kind of sites, and i think many people are annoyed and even irritated at such sites.

so unless your content is so good or unique that for some reason people want or NEED to access your site then this might work, but i still have to mention that there will still be side effects, your reputation will go down, you spoil the overall experience of your visitor, and this might in turn hurt some conversion that u are expecting.

but most often then not, content locking sites are rubbish, so people like me tend to just hit the "x" button on the far top right hand corner in red.

especially movie type of sites, there are lots of those.
u want to know what im talking about exactly? just type in youtube, any hollywood movie title, and all the videos there on youtube are promotional videos to promote their websites, which are content locking sites, so once u fill up an offer u get to watch the movie on their site.

cool? not until u read the comments. u will get an idea of how people feel.
oh not to mention the thumbs down.

Hey OnTargetMarketing,

As everyone else mentioned above, cash incent offers shave a ridiculous amount. Coming from a former affiliate and a network owner now, incentivizing/content locking websites are still in its young stages. There are just so much things you can do with content locking, not just creating a page and throwing up a widget on it, then expect it to pull loads of cash. There are features that were made to optimize your traffic and NOT scare off your visitors. If you are still looking to jump into the Content Locking game, shoot me over a PM and I'll be more than happy to get into futher detail. Good Luck!

There are many networks have this kind of offers, Campaign Creatives is one of course. You can also check out AdscendMedia, BLAMads, BlueTrackMedia and CPAWay. Hope it helps
