Hello,

Could someone explain me what's the difference between dating CPA and dating affiliate? For example if they both pay per lead (free signup). If I join some dating affiliate then I can also install those promotional banners which call you to the dating site. But what's CPA networks then? I'm kinda confused, so any information would be great!

Hi mandos123,

If you want to promote a dating site as an affiliate, you would promote the site and be paid a commission when someone pays for a subscription to the site. Usually this is a recurring commission because the buyer pays every month fore the service. So you would be paid a percentage of the monthly amount for the service.

Cpa networks, on the other hand are cost per action or cost per lead companies. You sign up to a CPA network and can browse categories and offers. This is a one time payment to you for getting them the lead. anywhere from $1 - $20.00 or more. The more information the person puts in the field, the more it pays. For instance, if you have a capture page that has only a request for an email address, it will pay less than a page that has name, email, phone number, ect...

The biggest difference in my view is SUPPORT. AM in CPA networks are more experienced and they are always there to help you out in all aspects but when you are direct affiliate you can't expect that much of help from their AM's.

It almost looks like you are comparing running dating offers through a CPA network and running dating offers directly to the merchant

Most likely you will get faster payments through the networks, but you might get a higher payout from the merchant

The difference:
1. Dating CPA- CPA network become "middleman" between you as affiliate and the Dating website as the merchant/ the advertiser

2. Dating Affiliate- you directly correspond with the Dating website/ the merchant

Pros of Dating CPA:
- you have affiliate manager that will assist you how to promote the dating offer.

Pros of Dating Affiliate:
- you can get higher payout, because there isn't CPA network as the middleman

Most dating offers on cpa networks are paying on pay per lead model.

Direct dating affiliate programs normally have more models you can choose from, such as revshare, percentage, pay per sale, pay per lead and even pay per click.

With dating affiliate you are entitled to a commission from the site when you refer visitors to sign up as members and also a commission from money generated when a member contacts other members. Under CPA companies you browse categories and offers upon signing up with the network. Here, payment is only done once. In this network you get more pay as the information increases in the field.

Could you suggest me some CPA network with good dating offers? It would be good if they also pay per lead from foreign country(not usa/uk/aus and so..)

You could try cupid.com. Though they only have I think 5 dating websites to promote
