is youtube traffic adsense friendly?,Im using a video to bring traffic to my blog.
another question please.
if i do massive backlinking to try to rank a video on google could that hurt my youtube or adsense account? or both?
I do not want to rank the video on youtube. I want the video to rank on google I repeat.

As long your video rankes on youtube it will start ranking on Google. Google takes the authority from youtube ranking. Also if you drive good backlinks ( NO BLACKHAT) then i don't why you r channel going to face trouble.

If you drive good related traffic to your blog then yes adsense can get you some money.

yes, you can rank your video in google too. You just need to do also SEO to your video. Many are putting adsense in their video and they are also earning a lot of revenues on that.

Only do quality/whitehat backlinks... don't use blackhat methods.... you should be fine.

After trying some blackhat SEO,I was punished,so what I learn from that is you need to be slow.

It shouldn't hurt by building back links to your YouTube video, and you should be able to bring in more traffic.

Just make sure you do legitimate link building and nothing grey or black and there should be no risks to your accounts

This is the confusing part. So, just for clarification, are you asking about ranking a YT video on the 1st page of big G? Or were you asking like a self hosted video or DailyMotion or MetaCafe?

If it's a YT vid, then in most cases, you will first have to have that video ranking within the top 3 in YT before it will rank well on the 1st page of Google. I've found this to be a solid formula about 95% of the time.

Then there's this little enigma:

Sometimes, it may still depend on your niche. For example, I have a video ranking right now on the 1st page of Goog along with 6 other competitor's videos. So that's 7 videos, all at the top of Googs 1st page (which I don't see very often). My video is currently in position #4 on the first page. But - in YT, my video is in position #19.

My video currently is literally about to turn to 32,000 views (gets about 10k views/month and yes, those are real...not bought). I put it up 3 months ago.

Why not make a YT account you don't mind loosing and one you want to keep. Post the same video to both at the same time and blast the heck out of one while not touching the other. See what happens.
