Default Is $1,300 enough to get started with CPA/facebook?

I want try my hand at Facebook. I've been studying various Facebook Ad WSO's as well as Perry Marshall's Facebook book.

I figure I could find my first converting offer with a $300 test budget, than use the $1000 to "put behind" the winning offer.

your thoughts?

In my experience, $1,300 is enough to get started. Be sure to test low payout offers at first.

$1,300 isn't that much to be honest. I'll start there and slowly increase as I get better. It's best to start small of learn than as you get good slowly increase your ad spend.

Basically, I'll just keep reinvesting my profits and revenues.

It is definitely a good budget! But be careful about spending money. You want spend your money wisely. You can lose that money in 3 days if you do not know what you are doing!

Sounds like a win-win strategy to me. Let us know, later on, how it went!

Good luck,

It's enough provided you have at least basic knowledge. I would say, start small so as not to burn money on something you haven't yet figured is profitable.

Also, at the start focus on low-payout offers, they are easier to convert.

Yes, Johnny, it's enough.

I suggest you to start targeting non-english speaking countries, because they have a lower CPC and tend to be cheaper during the testing phase.

Also, start targeting small audiences, use many interests and specific angles. Test small and don't worry about volume in the beginning, focus on getting a positive ROI.

Keep in mind that on FB optimization is very important, so test many ads, get a good CTR and then decrease your CPC. It's very tough to turn a positive ROI without optimizing the CPC, so this should be your first goal.

Here are 2 quick guides that I created on FB ads that can be useful for you:

Good luck!

i think the best way to invest your money here online is by going to a website like flippa
where they sell website and find a good website that earns a good revenue every month with some good traffic.

I think that's definitely enough. I would test around 5 offers and test all the main components first (overall keywords, landing pages, banners, etc) Find whats working and scale up. You might have to take a break in the middle however, because the 1300 will probably dry up before you have to wait for them to pay you.

That's absolutely enough. If you've done your homework, you should be getting clicks for around 5 cents or so. I'd highly recommend starting with low daily budgets because you can burn through a large amount of money before you even get a chance to notice that it's a poorly converting niche.

Hey buddy, here is the thing when it comes to Paid traffic, it does not matter how much budget you have. There are times where you can spend all that money with few days with out making 30% off it back.

So you make sure you have a pure action plan which you can relay on, Not on the budget. Make sure you understand the platform first, how to optimize, track, bidding etc etc.

Start small and slowly ramp it up. Most important thins ever, do not ever kill any Campaign early because this way you will lose money all day long. Starting new campaign may look cool but in reality you are digging holes in your pocket.

My advice is to keep in touch with some 1 who can advice you when when you are stuck.

Or create a Thread here as a case study and post your progress as you go along. ( Keep your niche etc to your self ) as you go along people here can watch your result and also tell you what to do next

i hope every thing works out for you buddy. All the best and take right action

That is more than enough. Just be careful and don't blow it all at once on those ultra competitive keywords like "weight loss" "acne" etc... Do proper research and make that money.
Good luck!

$1,300 is definitely enough money. Most people when starting have $200-$300 so you really have a great advantage. You should be able to test and test and test and not have to worry about the hole burning in your pocket. Just make sure you have an idea of what you're doing before you start and you should be golden. That's one hell of a starter fund. Leaves a lot of room for learning.

More than 1 $ CPC ! This is too much. Can I ask which countries you were targeting?

I think 1200 $ to start is enough. I'll start only with 300 $

Try testing very targeted ads towards niche fanpages. You'll be able to get a high amount of likes and keep your cost low.
