I am wanting to get started into PPC offers and the like. I am a newbie at Internet Marketing in general and all I have worked with so far is YouTube and a Pay-Per-Download site. It makes me around $3 a day with no work whatsoever but obviously this isn't much money at all. Anyways, getting to the main point of the thread. I was first thinking about going with Google, but then I was reading about how Facebook was much better and it was easier to target more specific types of people (people that'd be interested in what the ad has to offer). And now, I'm hearing a lot of buzz about advertising on Plenty of Fish because it also has a great targeting system and I've heard that it can work pretty well. My main questions: - What are some strengths/weaknesses of each? - What is easiest for a beginner to start out with? And finally, what do you recommend I start with? I am looking to make around $20 a day, at least. Hopefully I can reach this amount within a month or so. Thanks WF! |

They are all good advertising networks, google isn't that great for beginners. Personally I find POF has less competition and easier to make money with however I find Facebook easier to target I'm some circumstances. Do you know which type of offers you would like to promote?

I highly recommend you get started with POF. They are one of the most affiliate friendly traffic sources and can get super targeted traffic to your campaigns |

I obviously love PPC in Facebook. I think the targeting is amazing to work with. There's so many options with it. And if you create your ads right with great targeting, you can get extremely cheap clicks.

All of them are excellent. It depends on you and how to play with them. Google - Don't promote anything ![]() POF- Less competitive and super flexible with Approval Process and 1 of the best Targeting Tool Provided. CPM can be little Dangerous if you don't do your targeting and tracking properly. Facebook- Huge traffic and not as expensive as Google. Laser Target Traffic. Fan page can be huge. |

Google PPC is not easy for new, but for long run, it will b great if you start with it. Face book is another very good option with face book you can target specific people who are looking for that specific thing. POF is very good these days. You can earn a lot with this. Personally i love face book and Google's PPC.

I'd go with POF and dating offers! You can start with international dating offers on FB as well! ~ Omid |

POF for a beginner would make more sense to me. Facebook has too much instability as far as rules go and it get get really frustrating for a noob. Google would probably be the hardest to break into. I'd avoid that until you really feel comfortable with what you're doing.

I highly recommend POF as a starting point for performance marketing. It's where I started (I also run mobile, Adcenter, and FB) and I have been consistent on it for a long time. It's the most affiliate friendly traffic source out there. You can talk to Ben who is the representative for all of POF's advertising directly and personally. In my and most ppl's opinions, it's the best paid traffic source out there...the ONLY downside is that it doesn't have the volume that FB has. FB hates affiliates. That's the biggest problem. You will not get any personal attention and they can ban you for whatever reason they want. Getting an account banned on FB (with a high spend limit) is one of the worst things I've experienced in marketing. If you're serious about CPA marketing, I would HIGHLY advise you to join one of the premium paid forums. I am a huge fan of Aff Playbook. Definitely the higher earnings/member there. Trust me, it's worth the membership fees. You will save a lot of time and headache. Let me know if you run into more specific issues. Hope this helps! -Tom |
