Neither is better. You can make A LOT of money with either. It's not about picking one over the other, it's about just picking one or the other and getting good at it.

Conceptually they are actually both pretty similar

Totally agree, never limit yourself and don't prejudge based on what others say or think.

The only true way to answer that is to find out which one you like best and go for it.

If you are just starting, PPC is better since you can lose all your money in couple of hours with PPV. I am not saying that you'll definitely make money with PPC right of the bat. PPC is quite risky if you do not know what you are doing.

Based on my own experience PPV could be way more lucrative if you have already mastered PPC. This is the way I did it. To be honest, I first started with free traffic. Once I learnt how to promote CPA offers and improve the conversion rate I decided to do the same thing with paid traffic. That's how I went from $xx/day to 3 figures per day!

Everyone has done it in his/her own way and to be more honest, there is no some magic blueprint around it. You need to find you own way and crush it!

I couldn't agree with more. Either ppv or ppc would be a great way to get started.
