Default Started my 2nd facebook ads campaing, any suggestions?

Ok after my last campaign not being very successful, ive started my 2nd campaign with facebook, but this time setting it up different. I am direct linking to a gaming offer from MaxBounty same as before.

Ive got 4 separate campaign groups running (all different age demo's eg. 18-24, 24-29 etc.). Within those campaigns I have 8 ads running, all with separate images, and 2 different text copies. So all up I have 8 images that are being split tested with 2 texts between 4 demo's.The campaigns all have a $50 maximum daily spend each. So all up I have 32 ads running.

It has been running for about 3 hours now, and some of the ads have been really successful, with CTR's of 0.3% up to 0.6% and CPC's as low as $0.30. There has been a couple with CTR's under 0.1% and still haven't had to many impressions. All up though ive only had 3 conversions at $1.40 each, but I understand this is the testing phase, and expect to loose money.

My question is, what do I do next? Do I pause those ad with CTR under 0.1%? Do I keep letting them all run for another 24h? How should I optimise this? Pretty much, what is my next step?

All the steps you took in creating your ads sounds good. Run the campaign for 24h and make sure to track you conversions to see which part time of day the conversions will be in its best.

From there you can start by focusing on the demographics and ad copies with high CTR. Once you are focused on 3 or 4 ad copies start to do more testing on this demographics by adding borders to the old images and by adding new images and new text.

Make sure to create similar ads and don't edit the existing one so you don't lose your CPC rate.

Later on you can split test the same demographic with 2 ads. If you have a winner demographic with ages 18-24 years create 2 ads for 18-20 and 21-24.

Hope that help and good luck. Please keep us updated.

The only problem I see is that Facebook does not like email submits. Judging from what you're promoting they're most likely email submits. They'll let you run it for a while but then will BAN you if any of the users complain. This is a permanent lifetime ban so be careful.

I would suggest that you test some landing pages with some redirects to buffer you from being banned by FB. They are starting to turn into Google, so you will need to do something that will give some content. I am testing some quizes on FB and it is turning out pretty well for the time being and they are working great.

I would stay away from direct linking via the FB Ad platform. It is a huge potential and you don't want upset them.

Just work within the rules and be creative. Lots of money to be made!

Maybe a stupid question, but how much is the average Facebook ads campaign? I've been thinking of using Facebook as a primary means of donations for my non-profit once our website is completed.

It really depends on how many clicks you want. It still take a bit of money for testing from what I've seen. I've had mine on 50 dollar daily limits.

On another note, alot of my ads are performing well, with CTRs above 0.3%, some of the demos all the ads are doing well. Could I optimise this somehow?

I suggest that you setup a simple Fanpage with a link to your website. Fanpages are cheaper to advertise on FB than direct linking to a website.
