I'm writing an ebook and i want to host the download link on my own directory/website - whats the best way to do this? also how can i track the amount of downloads/clicks?

e-junkie is a good script to do exactly this. It will integrate with a payment processor and secure the download. |

You can track your page with google analytics. I do with that only. |

You will need to create a .zip or .rar file and upload it to your server under the html directory. Once that in place people will be able to download it using your link yourwebsite.com/report.zip To be able to track the visits I can suggest one of the following: - Use an opt-in form to collect visitors emails (Recommended) - Place a link on a plan page with a text Click here to start your download and use - google analytics code. - Create a sub domain and use a tracking system like Prosper202.
