If you do CPA how long did it take you to get to that point?

Did you use free traffic at first? then go on to PPC PPV, etc?

8 days, PPV, Started with viral campaigns making loads then used that to fund my important campaigns. Using Sitescout atm and going to save some money and use bigger providers like Admeld. I learned a nice bit from here, Private Forums | Internet Marketing Tips & Tricks

I don't remember all of the methods I have taken to $50 a day. The most recent method has been with FB and CPA. Took only a few days to reach $50 a day, and that was with a very low ad budget.

When you say 8 days, does that mean you were for example spending 100/day and taking in 150/day at that point? sorry but the terminology is all new to me at this point in my newbie experience

I am not a newbie to IM, I have been doing that for years, and I can program almost any sites etc but CPA? PPV? PPC? all new to me

Again excuse my ignorance , when you say taken to $50/day, and that was a low ad budget, can you give me a theoretical example (not real world as in your figures)

this questions very much applies to SEO or other free traffic right?

For paid traffic, to make $50/day, it's instant.

For a campaign that make money, I'll bid higher and also duplicate campaign. That's less than an hour to make 50, 100, 200

Thanks Yes I guess I am talking more campaign than organic SEO traffic which is so unpredictable in the time frame

What do you consider a daily ad budget that will profit 50/day........100/day, etc?

Some of the tutorial I read said way different than what you said. The tutorial said ok you want to profit 100/day? that means you need to test 1000 kws since 90% of the kws end up being duds, waste of money. I forgot I will have to go back in and find where I read that on the tutorial but , well I am just reading and learning at this point. Not much of an ad budget to work with but within 30 days I think I will have perhaps 1000 dollars to start with.


But from what I have read and observed if you dont know what you are doing you will quickly lose that money, so better to learn CPA etc is what I have been told, and then and only then go to paid campaigns. What do you think of this advice?

Well it depends mainly on what traffic source you are going to use and how much you are going to invest.

I am also curious when you guys say ok $50/day after 1 or 2 weeks
is that PROFIT $50/day? or you are taking in that much but also spending or subtracting your ad costs from that $50?

I could start out from day 1 with a $300/day Ad budget, that doesnt mean I know what I am doing , or making money with that budget. Correct me If I am wrong

lol, i did get to $50+ per day in a week, pure profit. Started from $10/day budget, earned around $ 5-6 profit (can't remember clearly) the same day, and of course i tried to scale it up (increased my daily budget to $100/day) to earn more profit.

Start small, when you find a profitable campaign, you need to scale it up ASAP. That's all. LOL

I always use free traffic in the first place, because I don't like to move in the advanced and paid methods without mastering the "free" way first. It really took me a long time before I got my first conversion (a free laptop offer) in a Blogspot blog. Well, it will takes us a long time using the free methods to see greater results.

You are comparing apples with oranges here. No matter how you become good at free traffic, you will still fail at paid traffic. You know why? Because paid traffic is totally different. Even the traffic varies dramatically across the paid platforms.

For instance people go on adwords to buy something, but the facebook traffic is mostly about socializing. It's really tough to make facebook traffic buy stuff. Easier to make them interact. That's why cpa offers do very well on facebook.

The quality of traffic also varies between other pay per click channels. 7search's traffic quality and adblade's traffic quality is not the same. It's all about testing and tracking different verticles.

You may fail on converting free traffic all day everyday but you may become profitable with an offer on paid traffic the very first day (quite unlikely but not impossible). The reason for that is, you have much more control in paid traffic demographic, geographic wise and you can divert it across different offers.

For instance while adblade's traffic quality is really high, it's not wise to promote cpa offers on there because of the cost of pay per click (.50 cents per click.) But offers that have high pay outs such as bizz ops can do extremely well if you know what you are doing. And the scenario is just the opposite for platforms like 7search. Cost per sale offers won't likely do well because of the traffic quality.

I suggest you get into paid advertising as soon as possible because you are leaving money on the table. People are making a killing with it, the traffic is instant and it's not that hard to make a campaign profitable, as long as you have enough bankroll.

When you guys find successful campaigns, do they typically peter out, die after a week or two? or do you just find other campaigns that make MORE money ROI than others so you kill the less profitable ones because of that

dont need to be a stickler but I wanted to get some idea what people were NETTING, in other words, what is possible based on multiple feedbacks.

Its just surprising to me since in this forum if you learn what you are doing you can be at $100/day profit in 30 days., I have a friend who I talk to in PMs he said he is at over $200/day net and he started about 3.5 months ago in CPA, and I thought I was not understanding him correctly, since thats so rare to be at that level in the SEO forums, Adsense etc, unless you have been at the 1 yr level maybe hitting it very hard ............In the Adsense forum, you are lucky to hit $100/day in 6 months and most people are happy to hit that within 1 yr

$50 a day is very achievable, You can achieve that in 1 month if you put the work to it.

Some of my students are making that already their 1st month in cpa.

What i like about CPA It's you are not selling nothing.

Facebook Guysssss Is where the money comes from in my opinion.

It depends on the verticle and the platform you are promoting on. For instance, campaign life span with POF is really short. People get used to your ads really fast and you have to keep changing and trying different ad copies, landing pages, images to make the campaign last long and increase your conversion rate as much as possible.

With some ad networks the traffic is more than you can handle but the quality is very low, so this evens it out a little. You have to take action and give it a try to understand the basics of media buying. You cannot win if you don't play
