I've checked out some WSO's, videos and I've been reading posts here on the WF. Everyone seems to be saying the same thing, that email/zip submits are the easiest and quickest way to get your feet wet in CPA. Well I'm looking to get my feet drenched. The thing is I can't wrap my brain around how these offers work, convert and make me money. I'm the type of person that if I offer a client a box of apples that when they open the box they should see apples. I tested out some of these ads with a test email or zip and found that after submitting my info for the $50 gift card or the sample pak of "tasty chips" they went on to other offers that I had to fill out or required you to buy into 2 "silver" level offers to get the initial offer. I have so many questions. 1- Is this how these offers are run with nested offers within nested offers? 2- If yes, how can you hope for a conversion? It seems as an affiliate using PPC you're just throwing money out the window. 3- Is it possible that I have not looked hard enough to find the right offers? Is it possible that there are "legit" offers? So when they say "Get a free box of apples when you submit your email" that on the first page they submit their email. They're taken to a second page to fill in they mailing details and that's it. The apples are sent. 3b - When the offer states ***Offer converts on first page email submit***, does that mean, when the client goes to the landing page sees the offer and enters their email I get paid? I'm just not understanding. Your input will be most welcome. |

every email/zip submit let's the user go through a funnel. Don't worry though! you are getting paid when the user submits their email on the first page.

You are getting paid when the conversion criteria is met, this can be as simple as submitting a zip/email on the first page... or some more data maybe on the second page. (So called "short form submits"). Whatever other stuff is offered to the VISITOR then might not really be of your concern...eg. what he gets after the email/zip submit...if the particular offer for you already converted for you with them entering their zip or whatever. Just make sure that if you want to promote simple submits that you do not get an actual "per sale" offer or an offer where they need to enter their credit card information. Reason is that not all programs have labelled their offers properly - sometimes they file offers under "cost per lead" or "submits"...but then after closer inspection the conversion only happens after they buy something or enter their CC. |

I'd be interested to hear about some strategies people use for "one form fields" like email/zip submits. For example, I have a strategy where I will use SEO and social media for risk-free-trial offers. But I'm wondering if PPC works best for one form fields. Any suggestions for what strategies work best with email/zip submits? |

Thanks David, very much appreciated, I'm going to get started putting serious action into IM soon, for now, I'm spending the month of January as an intensive study month.
