Default Adwords PPC taking it to the next level...

Hello guys,

After alot of inspring reading here at the forum I decided to try out google adwords. So I launched a campaign 2 days ago:

The campaign stratgey:

- Found relevant offer for my website from maxbounty and peerfly .
- keyword research, identified approx 60 different keywords.
- made the ad and submitted it.

Day 1:
14 clicks - cost 1.61$
2 leads - payout 3.40$
profit - 1.8$

Out of the approx 60 keywords I have on my ad, only 5 where clicked on. I dont know which one of these converted best, maybe someone can help me how to track that?

Day 2:
33 clicks - cost 4.97$
5 leads - payout 8.40$
profit - 3.43$

Same here no new keywords where clicked on, instead the same 5 keywords mad the conversion.

So how do I take this to the next level? Shall I eliminate all the other remaining keywords? Is there anyway to increase my profit by lowering the costs? and so on...

Appreciate your comments

BR

First of all congrats, seems you found a profitable campaign

What I'd do next to scale this out is to improve the ad quality for these 5 KW. This way you'll get lower CPC

You can try 2 things:

-try to rise quality score for your landing page. That's all about content and semantics. Make sure the keyword gets an important place on semantic hierarchy. Even try to make one targeted landing page for each kw

-Rise CTR. That's about the ad itself. Try to make more people click on your ad. Usually what I do is to copy what big players are doing, as simple as this

My 2 cents

You can use Prosper202 to track the campaign and find out where the conversions are coming from. Once you do it, try to scale by increasing your daily budget and also by adding new keywords. The ROI is very good for a new campaign, so maybe it will make you good $$$.

Thanks alot for your input,

I see where your coming, As for now I'am having one landing page containing 3 different offers. Maybe ill make 3 different landing pages for each offers targeting different keywords. what do you think? And how/what DO the big players do?

Definetly much better to create a separate lánding for each KW in order to rise the quality (and lower cpc)

As for the big players I meant to look into their ads. What titles/body use, wether they use inline keywords or not, etc

Try creating 3 or 4 different ads for each keyword and leave them running for 2-3 days. Then keep the one with higher ctr and repeat again and again till you can't rise the ctr anymore

Keep testing, you're close

Are these clicks going to your landing page or are they direct linking?

They are going direct to my landing page. I thought that cause I am currently in a process of making a opt-in box to capture their emails.

Add more keywords, and make sure you use prosper202/bevomedia to track your campaigns, delete the keywords that don't convert. Rinse and repeat!

Here is the most important piece of advise you can get.
Never use ADWORDS as your primary source of income.
Especially for lead hunting. they will shut you down eventually
either in the begining or later on .
Try to create as many sources as you can aside from google paid traffic sources.

Jinn - way to ramp it up frm your first few days! You found a profitable combination, now turn the crank and raise your daily spend limits. Add more keywords if you need more traffic.

What kind of conversion rate are you getting from your landing page, and from the offer itself?

Hi,

I'am promoting 2 offers on the same landing page, the best one is getting 24% CR the other one is getting 10% CR.

Neat idea, but wouldn't fly on adwords. It would fly on other ppc engines though I think.

You can also put opt in box on top or bottom to catch their emails. Build List for long time business.

Hi there,

Great to hear that it worked for you on your first try congrats!
I would suggest using a voucher to get extra $100 added to your adwords balance.
Btw what kind of niche are you targetting? What are you promoting? Your own products or affiliate products? Maybe I can help you!
