I learned by transitioning into a position with a company and then getting PPC Certified by Google and Adcenter. The training center materials Google in particular gives are invaluable. You learn all the principles for building a campaign.

the only way to learn is by doing. You can go through some courses AFTER you've gotten first-hand experience to sharpen your skills. 99% of people who buy courses don't ever actually use the info within.

I heard that Affplaybook.com is more suitable for people which are kind of new.

If I registered to Affplaybook.com to learn PPC would I learn enough to be able to setup PPC campaigns to promote email / zip submits.

I learned it from my mentor back in 2004ish.

Things have certainly changed a lot since then.

I've learned almost everything in the practice. However, I probably could have saved some $$$ if I had had access to STM or SixMonthsFromToday.

Both are very good forums with awesome information.
