Do you think the landing page domain has a significant effect on conversions? I have some generic real word domains and normally do something like this: domain.com/lp/dating/pof1 What is your experience? |

Wait for the more advanced affiliates to say their opinion, because they have probably tested it.

With ppc it's better to have a domain for each niche you promote. If you where, for instance, promoting a cash advance offer with ppc and a user clicks your ad to your landing page hosted on e.g. "hotdatestonight.com" you won't get a proffesional impression |

IT depends on what you are promoting. If you are going to run free stuff offer then you can get 1 c.om domain on the niche and have several sub domains related to offer. but if you are going to run high end offer such as weight lose stuff then you need to get .com domain related to the offer as it more like review type. |

| Not sure, I know AdWords shows a url. I have sold my own products using PPC, used AdSense, and done CPA stuff with organic traffic. I am going to give POF a try with a CPA offer, and I am a little new to this process. |

I need to go buy a dating domain, I just bought a coupon domain I put wordpress and clickbump theme on it so I can silo theme it for SEO and get free SE traffic for it, but the same domain can be used also just throw up some landing pages on it for CPA kill two birds with one stone |

I need to go buy a dating domain, I just bought a coupon domain If you choose to go with this approach, there are a few tips you may want to consider. One idea would be to create a visual mnemonic domain – such as “ambalaelectronicinstruemnts.com” or “asicoindia.com” – which is easy to remember . Another idea would be to use an action-oriented domain that tells your customers how you expect them to behave, such as “asicoindia.com” or “ambalaelectronicinstruemnts.com”. I put wordpress and clickbump theme on it so I can silo theme it for SEO and get free SE traffic for it, but the same domain can be used also just throw up some landing pages on it for CPA kill two birds with one stone |

Agreed, for CPA landing pages dashes are probably the best. They make your URLs easy to read.

If the domain is short, its readable with no hyphens Myfood.com or something like that but three words can be confusing I think CPA landing pages you dont have to worry about typein traffic so the dashes seem like they look readable I seriously doubt meet-your-match.com is available though LOL |

There are obviously differing opinions on this subject but I usually go for a domain that doesn't mean anything. Like kibux.com or something, idk. The dating domains seem like they look scammy, at least to me. I could be wrong, but I don't want to test that. I also prefer .com, .org, .net over the lower tier domains. Just feel like you give the visitor more confidence in terms of where they are. .info just has scam written all over it. Again, my opinion.

I just bought a few infos for my niches. Maybe I'll do a little split testing with one of my generic coms to see if there is any difference.
