Hi Im a little stuck and hoping for some guidance i am trying to think of some campaigns i can run and wanted to center them around finding a niche which is big / massive or maybe becoming massive. Im not too sure what to look for on google adwords When i type the keyword should i be looking for global searches to be massive - as that shows there is a lot of interest in this or should i be looking for a large number but not massive. i was then going to use this keyword to make some youtube videos and possib link to my offers - im just not sure about how to start using google to find the correct words. Maybe a newbie q - but would very much appreciate your help cheers all |

This is a very general question... When researching keywords there are many things you have to consider and what is a good choice for a campaign can be a very bad choice for another one. You shouldn't always look for keywords with high or massive volume. Sometimes, it's better to target several long tail keywords that are more targeted and even cheaper. It's something to be analyzed in a case by case basis. Besides volume, the CPC, competition, relevance and other factors need to be considered. W

Try Google Trends. You can search for world wide search trends or drill it down to a country or region level for a particular keyword or for a particular category. If done properly, its a very powerful tool.
