Hello everybody! Yes I know, my title looks strange but I will explain the thing: I am in different cpa companies as an affiliate (maxbounty, cpapath...) and I recently wondered if it was possible that the leads we make are taken back AFTER that cpa paid you. Is it possible ? For example: Let's say I made 10 leads that converts 20$ each one. So I look to my account and my balance is 200$. Then 1 week after, I receive the payment by paypal. From this moment, the money is completely mine or it stills a risk they ask for money back ? Let's have a look for example at the ToS of maxbounty. We can read that; Quote:

Yes indeed. But even if we are 100% clean, sometimes we can get a bad lead/bad sale. So what cpa companies do for that? Do they delete the commssion from your balance before the payment or they pay you and they reverse lead after?

I have had one instance where commissions were deleted from my balance from bad leads generated a month or two prior. It only happened for a e-cig offer, and their reasoning was that it took them that long to determine that the lead had not complied with all the terms of the offer. So in my experience I would say that it's not common, but it does happen.

It certainly can happen, normally reputable companies will only do this if the affiliate performs fraud or other illegal actions so just be legit and you should be good |

I see...but I keep believing that once money is in our paypal, it means that leads are ok because they cant get the money back if it is already in our paypal...

um chargebacks is what you are talking about....just because you have the money in your PayPal account they can ALWAYS charge you account back and put you in the negative...trust me they CAN and if you dispute it they can just produce the TOS and the chargebacks and why...you will lose. Just keep that in mind...it is a business expense and can happen.

Not that it's ever happened to me (I try to be a good boy), but I hope that the network would contact first before performing a chargeback.

Solid comments above....I think if you just keep the quality high and your clicks legit that is all we can do. No need to look back (unless you think you got shaved) just.concentrate on the next payday twice as strong and also keep a close relationship with your AM. (affiliate manager) and stick with the reputable networks. |
