Sitescout
Pulse360
AdBlade
Yabuka
AdBrite

These sites are 3rd party that buy direct from large networks like OpenX and Rubicon and then it's resold through their platforms. Usually it's a lot cheaper to start out here than go direct and spend thousands if you're not ready for it.

P.S. I think that's what he meant... but if you did mean forums, then my bad! ;-)

Have you had any success with Adblade and Adbride ?I want to try Adbride for media buying but read many bad reviews about them.

How did that work for you? I am just getting started and they are one of the smaller budget ad networks I was recommended.

Buy Sell Ads can be a good spot for lower budget campaigns. Just make sure that you're always running two banners. Drop the lower performing banners and always have new ones ready to test, always aiming for the highest CTR you can get.

Cool thanks, but she was talking about adbrite. Do you have any experiences with them you can share?

The term media buying sucks.. not sure who started doing that. Media Buyer refers to the person who buys online advertising, so it's like saying "I'm buying ads." Placing any ads online, whether its CPA, CPC, CPM is "media buying."

Pace is right, it's too generic, but it's the same with PPV, that's not right either.

You should atleast list a budget and what offer you want to promote.

Google Display Network can be a great place to buy ads.

Or I recommend http://www.megaclick.com/ ...

Oh wait a min....

Yeah you know how sick I am of seeing CPV being called PPV like it is television...

Think Gauher Chaudhry started that terminology...

Arbitrage.

If you tell any major CPM ad network you are a media buyer, they'll laugh at you and send you back to your room.

Check out popunderxpress.com

They are new, but their rates are usually less than their larger competitors. And the traffic is quality.

RightMedia = Yieldmanager. Best to buy through one of the 2000 networks on RigthMedia Exchange.

Thanks for clarifying that. Might you know anything about AdNexus/AppNexus? How does one advertise through that exchange?

It's not an exchange, its a RTB platform.
