Default Advice on (re)starting with ppc and CPA

I did PPC and CPA back in 2010 and had some success but not a lot
So I save up on IM generally in 2011 and got a real job (designing websites)

Now I have some money to invest I want to try again

I want to direct link so will be using 2nd tire PPC networks
The 3 I have heard about and most recommended are are
7search
Leadimpact
POF

Which is best when starting out
I have money to invest but dont want to shed out 1000's to test offers
A few 100 I am thinking of

Any recommendation welcomes
Also any thoughts of good WSO or other books to read

I highly recommend POF as a starting point for performance marketing. It's where I started (I also run mobile, Adcenter, and FB) and I have been consistent on it for a long time. It's the most affiliate friendly traffic source out there. You can talk to Ben who is the representative for all of POF's advertising directly and personally. In my and most ppl's opinions, it's the best paid traffic source out there...the ONLY downside is that it doesn't have the volume that FB has. FB hates affiliates. That's the biggest problem. You will not get any personal attention and they can ban you for whatever reason they want. Getting an account banned on FB (with a high spend limit) is one of the worst things I've experienced in marketing.

If you're serious about CPA marketing, I would HIGHLY advise you to join one of the premium paid forums. I am a huge fan of Aff Playbook. Definitely the higher earnings/member there. Trust me, it's worth the membership fees. You will save a lot of time and headache. I am a very active member there and I hope I see you there. If you do decide to go down the POF path, be sure to check the POF section there and also my site. It has free tools, tips, and tutorials on exclusively POF right now.

Let me know if you run into more specific issues. Hope this helps!

-Tom

7search is a 2nd ppc network, but Leadimpact & POF, both are not ppc. Leadimpact is a CPV/PPV network, POF is a self-serve ad system, they are based on CPM only.

I personally recommend you use leadimpact, as i myself get started with leadimpact and have good experience with them. They are affiliate friendly, they have good amount of quality traffic and the price is 'cheap' if you use it properly. Also, there are many free ebooks about PPV out there. Here is a good one: Free Download – PPV Playbook & Training Videos - Aff Playbook.com

Hope it helps

I would personally use POF or lead impact
