Hello everyone,

I am planning on running CPA campaigns and tracking them with tracking 202, do I need to upgrade to a VPS? I am currently on the "Baby Plan" with Host Gator. Will that be enough to support the traffic I generate using flyers and PPC, or must i upgrade to a VPS?

It really depends on your traffic volume. IMO, if you are going to send paid traffic, I recommend you using a VPS for best performance.

If you are sending 150+ clicks a day then you certainly need a VPS, the additional cost is worth it and you'll simply lose out on commissions if you don't.

How much per month is a decent hosting program, sufficient for this?

I am spoiled from my 6 bucks a month Cyberwurx Shared hosting
I guess thats not sufficient. lol

How much traffic/clicks are you currently or planning to send? If the number is lower than 100-150 clicks, i think a shared hosting is sufficient for you. And like Jason said, if you are getting 150 or more clicks per day, buy a VPS, you can get one as cheap as $25 per month.

I have question regarding VPS for CPA journey. Let's say I use VPS for LP. When users read our presell and interested with service or product they click call to action button which redirected to advertiser LP. what if advertiser LP runs slow? so our VPS that runs good still doesn't help, does it?

My current problem is that VPS cost like $50 a month and I just lost my job last week. I already prepaid for 1 year worth of web-hosting with Host Gator.

I think it's generally recommended to at least have a VPS, but it really depends on how much traffic you have going through..

Then either use the same offer but on a different network (yes speeds will vary from network to network for the same offer)

Or simply use another advertiser in the same niche.

As advised it all depends on the amount of traffic you are sending.

I'll be straight up and honest, if you are in the position whereby $50 a month is outside of your budget and something you can't afford right now then I would advise you to avoid paid traffic sources.

Simply being you will generally lose money upfront on a campaign before you have acquired enough data to get it profitable, once you do have a profitable campaign you are then going to need enough capital to scalle and push volume.

This whole process will require a decent amount of capital.

when you use LP you mitigate the sensitivity for speed (from visitors perspective) because you presold the product. in this case the it's less important of the network's speed than in direct linking
