Everyone, I'm brand spanking new here and I see a million threads of great value waiting to be read. However, I figured I would post some general aspects of my situation and see if any of the experienced voices here have some quality advice for me. I recently built my own product, a downloadable business planning guide, and have created a site with a couple of landing pages. I have started with Google Adwords. I am having little success there so far (sold 1 ). The keyword prices are high, $.75 - $3.00 as there are a lot of competitors for these words. I am keeping my CPC around $.75 however and achieving a decent CTR on certain ads/keywords. On Landing Page 1, I ran a campaign that did about 450 clicks with 1 conversion. On Landing Page 2 I have 32 clicks with 0 conversions. I will be driving that to around 200 clicks over the next day and a half and then making some decisions. In any event I do have 3 generic questions: 1.) How many clicks/impressions do you require before you consider a sample size statistically relevant? 2.) At what point (cost/clicks) do you decide that it is not a landing page/pricing issue with a certain product but simply the fact that you are not selling something that people want? 3.) I have signed up with Peerfly to begin trying some CPA with different products - is Peerfly a good network? If not, who do you recommend? Any and all help is appreciated, super new so just looking to learn from some vets. Thanks in advance. Regards, Dustin |

1. IMO there is really no guideline on sample size it really depends on the product, niche, keyword, cost, etc. one of the key things I will tell you is just be aware that different days of the week and time of day does often play a factor in conversions so you want to make sure you have those variations covered. 2. IMO if you have a product and have done your market research then you will already know f your product is one that consumers will want, from here it is just how you present it to your visitors will determine if you are successful or not 3. Peer fly is a decent network to Start with IMO Chris | |
