Complete newbie accepted to Peerfly and trying his first campaigns

Hey guys,

I am a complete newbie, i've beed reading a lot for weekes now (most of what i learned is thanks to WF so thanks guys)

Finally i decided to act, i got accepted to Peerfly, and deposited 50$ into 7search (just to try cpa at first, learn basics)

I knew that at first i'm going to lose somey money but i'll be able to optimize the campaigns to focus on what is converting.

I created 2 campaigns, 15 keywords each, set 5$ each because i wanted to focus on optimizing first.

One was about free computer hardware and second is a small food gift card (figured it'd be more realistic...) both are email submits that convert on first page.

Now - nothing converts... got 40 clicks on each campaign.

I know in order to earn profit at all i supposed to block bad traffic from 7search, but how to seperate it when right now i got no convertions

both offers have CR - 15% by peerfly

They click on the ads so the offers just don't convert in this enviroment and should change them?

Or i simply don't know something yet and did it all wrong?

After how many clicks without single convertion should i usually abandon the keyword/campaign?

You should have taken your $50 and deposit it Facebook.7Search has junk traffic

try cpalead, max bounty if you wanna do these e-mail submits!!

The traffic is huge... Plus you can spend $5 for upto 10,000 visits on adf.ly!!

Did you use a website for the application to Peerfly?

7search really has junk traffic. you cant even compare it with facebook traffic. If u want to promote email submits, use just facebook traffic. Facebook is a social networks, peole there looking for fun, play games, or maybe win/get free something.

Marxy, how the hell do I get Facebook traffic to work ?? I have blown through close to $80 in 3 days, and I have only gotten less than 25 clicks (with thousands of impressions) !!
Please help !

Ok i should'nt put the money into 7search.
I did because i read some people had succes with them after blocking the bad traffic

but can someone advise me how to use 7search as the money is there right now? maybe after i used this 50$ i'll try facebook

Welcome to CPA World my friend

First I want to clear this thing to you and to other that network EPC rate doesn't mean that you will run the same offer and it will convert you in the same way as other are doing. You don't know if other Publishers are promoting the same offer on FB or POF or 7Search and how well there campaigns are optimized. Let's say if a network has 10 newbies publishers only and all of them are trying to promote X offer then the Network EPC rate will not that good and if there is only 10 publishers who know how to promote and optimize then it would be a different story. I guess it will become clear to you now.

For 7Search don't make any decision until you get atleast 100 clicks on your one keyword don't drop it. use sub id to check by which keyword you will get conversion. you can split test to you ad copy and with your keywords.

Can't agree with some guys here. 7search is not all junk traffic but i think it's not for all people.

Not many people know how to make 7search works. Adwords is not like Facebook is not like 7search is not like bing...etc.
Each system has his own pros and cons and they are all different in keywords targeting, platform, analytics, demographics...etc.

The growing problem with 7search is that its 40% fraud and worse, everyone is now trying **** offers on it.

You should try with facebook and POF. FB traffic converts good as compared to 7search.

I am also beginner. Shame on me, but can anyone tell me what is POF. and what is CR. because, I also have joined PeerFly I got some clicks also but my CR is 0, I got a little bit success with 7search.

POF = Plenty of Fish. http://ads.pof.com They have a self serve platform.

CR = conversion rate.
